Both JCPenney and Macy’s want shoppers to head to their stores early Friday.
Macy’s stores nationwide are giving the first 250 shoppers $10 gift cards on Dec. 23, according to a news release.
Most locations open 7 a.m. Friday and will stay open through midnight for last-minute shoppers. Check your closest store’s hours at Macys.com.
This offer is on a first-come, first-served basis and there’s a limit of one gift card per customer. Cards are only redeemable in-store but Macy’s furniture stores, clearance centers and Macy’s Backstage stores are not participating.
The Macy’s gift cards are promotional gift cards and not actual gift cards so they will expire on Dec. 23. However, these cards work on in-store items usually excluded from coupons like cosmetics and electronics. Macy’s handed out the promotional gift cards Wednesday and Thursday too.
JCPenney will give early morning shoppers special $10 off $10 coupons Friday and Saturday, the company announced.
Most stores will open 8 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday and coupons will be available while supplies last. Exclusions apply.
