Production At LG's Greater Noida Plant Partially Hit By Workers' Strike
New Delhi: Production at LG Electronics India’s Greater Noida plant has been partially affected following strike by workers who are seeking hike in wages and streamlining of their working hours.

The strike, which started on Monday, has impacted the production of LG’s Greater Noida facility, which manufactures a range of home appliances.

The company said its management is trying to resolve the issue with LG Electronics Employees Union with the intervention of local authorities.

“There are ongoing efforts along with the local district administration to sort this out on priority,” LG Electronics India said in a statement.

On the impact of the strike on production, the company said: “All our production line has been functioning. There is only a partial impact.”

Reacting to the workers’ demand, the company said: “We offer an attractive compensation package to our employees that matches with the prevalent wages across the industry.”

LG constantly focuses on addressing employee related concerns proactively and is ever vigilant towards any anxieties of its employees, it added.

LG manufactures a range of home appliances such as microwave, washing machine, refrigerator and airconditioner at its Greater Noida plant.
