What’s murkier: fare discounts

Our take: The free baggage and priority boarding are the real, no-catch benefit. Treat any advertised “10–25% off fares” claim with skepticism unless it’s coming directly from aa.com — much of what ranks for this search is coupon-site content describing a paid subscription service as if it were an airline discount.
