How We Verify Deals

How We Verify Deals

Every offer on CheezyDeals carries a status so you know exactly how confident we are:

  • Verified active — confirmed via a direct checkout test or the merchant’s own promotion page.
  • Likely active — sourced from an affiliate network feed or merchant email with a recent timestamp, not independently checkout-tested.
  • Unverified — reported by a user or a third-party source; treat with caution.
  • Expired / Removed — no longer valid; pulled from active listings immediately.

We never mark something “verified” just because another coupon site lists it. Every deal shows the date we last checked it, and we remove expired codes from active pages as soon as we catch them — we don’t leave stale codes up to chase search rankings.

Source priority, most to least trusted: merchant checkout test, merchant’s official page, affiliate network feed, merchant email/published terms, other verified first-party evidence. User submissions and other coupon sites are never sufficient alone to call something “verified.”
