Michaels states its coupons come from its website, app, direct mail, email, and SMS, and are not available in stores. Standing ID-based discounts run through a Michaels Rewards account: 15% off for educators, 15% for military, and 10% for shoppers 55 and older, each covering the entire purchase including sale items. Coupon types differ in whether sale items qualify, with limits of one coupon per product and one of each type per day. The guide also covers a long exclusion list, in-store and online price guarantees, and tax-exempt status syncing.
