IT Computer Support of New York and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Bring Cloud Computing Down to Earth

New York, NY (PRESS RELEASE – July 18, 2010) – The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and co-sponsor IT Computer Support of New York will present a seminar called “Technology Essentials for Small Business” on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The seminar will be divided into four tracks. One will include a presentation on cloud computing by Daniel Scolnick, CTO of IT Computer Support of New York. What is cloud computing? Why is it essential? How does it cut costs for businesses?

Scolnick, a former Associate Professor of Information Technology at New York University and a member of the Deans advisory council, has led a successful integration company, in New York City for 25 years and through three economic downturns.

Also, a panel discussion, entitled “Effectively Using Social Media for Your Business,” will include Business Week columnist and blogger B.L. Ochman of http://www.whatsnextonline.com/ and will be moderated by Ramon Ray, creator of the Small Business Tech Summit.

Other presentations include, “Data Disaster: Can Your Business Survive It?” by Steve Conyers of CMIT Solutions, and “Intelligent Technology Choices in 2010” presented by Mathew Hegarty of Net@Work.
