Southwest Airlines rarely publishes a promo code anyone can use. Codes are sent to individual travelers and can appear under Promo Codes in a Rapid Rewards account; most savings come from fare sales that discount base fares automatically.

Each offer is labeled by how we confirmed it. “Merchant-listed” means we read it on Southwest Airlines’s own pages or published terms; we did not run a checkout test. Offers past a published end date drop to the expired list automatically.

Southwest now sells four fare types (Basic, Choice, Choice Preferred and Choice Extra) that differ on seat selection, change rules, refundability and points earned. Free checked bags come with A-List tiers, Rapid Rewards credit cards, Getaways packages and active-duty military ID. Choice-or-higher travelers can rebook when a price drops and keep the difference as a Transferable Flight Credit, and frequent flyers can earn the Companion Pass.
