If you’re a K-12 teacher, you may already be entitled to Canva’s full Pro feature set — for free, no coupon needed. Here’s how the real program works.

It’s not a discount — it’s free

Canva for Education isn’t a percentage off or a trial that expires. Verified K-12 teachers get the equivalent of a Canva Pro subscription (premium templates, AI design tools, more storage) at no cost, indefinitely, as long as they remain eligible. Teachers can then invite their own students, who get the same free access.

Who’s eligible

• K-12 teachers at accredited schools (public, private, or homeschool, depending on verification)
• Students of a verified teacher, invited through that teacher’s account

Who’s NOT covered

College and university students and staff are excluded from Canva for Education. Higher-ed institutions use a separate, paid Canva for Campus plan instead — so if you’re in college looking for a Canva discount, this specific program won’t apply to you.

How to sign up

Teachers apply directly through Canva’s education verification process (typically via a school email address or other proof of employment). Once verified, you can invite your class from inside your Canva account — no promo code required at any step.
