How Arby’s app deals actually work
- Download the app and create an account. New accounts typically receive a welcome offer that appears in the Deals tab.
- Select your restaurant. This is the step people miss. Arby’s is heavily franchised, and the Deals tab is empty or generic until a store is chosen. Two Arby’s five miles apart can show different offers.
- Open Deals. Offers appear as cards with a stated expiration. Typical cards: buy-one-get-one on a classic sandwich, a dollar amount off a minimum order, a free small shake or fries with a purchase, and family bundle pricing.
- Apply in an app order, or show the in-store code. Most offers work both ways; some are app-order only.
What this means in practice: any page that lists an “Arby’s coupon” without saying which restaurant it was pulled from is describing an offer you may never see.
Arby’s Rewards
Arby’s Rewards awards points on qualifying app and online orders. Points redeem for menu items at tiered thresholds shown in the app. Arby’s publishes earn rules in its Rewards terms; the practical takeaway is that ordering through the app instead of walking up to the counter is the only way to earn, and it’s also where the Deals tab lives — so the two systems reward the same habit.
The “2 for $7” question
Arby’s has run paired-sandwich promotions for years — two classic roast beef sandwiches, or two of a featured item, for a single price on the menu board. The price point has moved with inflation and is set by the franchisee, which is why you’ll see “2 for $6,” “2 for $7” and “2 for $8” all claimed online for the same period. The offer may be real at your store; the number on a coupon site is a guess. Check the menu board or the app.
Ways to pay less without an offer
- Order in the app rather than a delivery platform. Same menu, no delivery-app markup, and you earn Rewards.
- Value menu items (sliders, small sandwiches) are the cheapest standing items and change less often than promotions.
- Family and group bundles in the app usually undercut the same items ordered individually.
