Is there a Great Wolf Lodge coupon code right now? Yes, and more than one. Great Wolf publishes its promo codes on its own deal pages: MOREFUN (30% off a 2+ night stay booked within 60 days of arrival), GWLTRIPLEFUN (up to 40% off 3+ nights), GWLESAVER (up to 50% off when you book at least 60 days ahead), plus eligibility codes for heroes (GWLHEROES), seniors (SENIORS) and auto club members (GWLDRIVER). The catch is that only one applies per booking, the percentages are maximums that “may vary by date,” and every one of them covers the room rate only.
The real question isn’t whether a code exists. It’s which code fits your dates, your length of stay, and how far ahead you are booking. Pick the right one and the discount is real; pick the wrong one and it may not apply at all.

Expiration dates come from the specific lodge page we read. Great Wolf runs a separate deals page for each resort, and the dates, dollar amounts and even the code for a given sale can differ between lodges. Always open the deals page for the lodge you are booking.
How Great Wolf promo codes actually work
The fine print repeats across Great Wolf’s deal pages, and it matters more than the headline percentage:
- One code per booking. Offers “cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.” If a better code turns up after you book, the deals page FAQ says a Pack Member will apply “the better of the two.”
- The percentage is a ceiling. Every page says the “discount may vary by date.”
- Room rate only. Discounts apply to the room rate. Taxes and “incidental charges” are not covered.
- Standard suites only. Themed and premium suites “may receive a different offer,” and rooms at the deal rate are limited for each date.
- Two guests are included. Rates are per room, per night, based on two guests. At U.S. lodges, each additional guest three and older adds $20 per night.
- Niagara is different. Most offers say they are not valid at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara, Ontario, or that its terms differ.
Choosing the right code: the 60-day line
The three main stay codes split on one date: 60 days before arrival.
- Booking 60+ days ahead: Early Saver (GWLESAVER), scaled by length of stay: 30% for one night, 40% for two, 50% for three or more.
- Booking inside 60 days, staying 2 nights: More Fun For Less (MOREFUN), 30% off.
- Booking inside 60 days, staying 3+ nights: Triple Fun (GWLTRIPLEFUN), up to 40% off.
If you qualify for an eligibility rate (heroes, seniors, auto club), price it against the stay codes for your exact dates. Since codes don’t stack, it is not automatically the lower price.
Example (our math, not a Great Wolf quote). Suppose a standard suite lists at $300 a night for two guests, and a family of four books three nights. That is $900 in room rate. GWLESAVER at the full 50% (booked 60+ days out) makes it $450; GWLTRIPLEFUN at the full 40% (booked inside 60 days) makes it $540. Either way, two extra guests add $20 each per night, or $120, plus taxes. The $300 rate is our assumption, and the real discount on your dates may be smaller.
Howlin’ Heroes: military, teachers and first responders
Great Wolf’s military discount is the Howlin’ Heroes offer, and the eligible list is wider than the name suggests. The Poconos page says it “applies to military (active, retired and veteran), teachers, fire, emergency medical service personnel,” and goes on to list medical providers, nurses, 911 dispatchers, police, government employees and correctional officers.
The headline is up to 40% off the room rate with the code GWLHEROES, which “must be mentioned at time of reservation.” Eligibility is checked through ID.me. Standard suites only, no combining, no blackouts, not valid at Niagara. The page we read lists a stay-by date of December 31, 2028.
The Baltimore/Perryville deals page also lists “Heroes Day Pass Savings,” up to 15% off with WPHEROES, though the offer’s own page showed no details; confirm with the lodge. Other programs for these groups are in our military discounts master list and teacher discounts master list.
Senior and auto club rates
Seniors (SENIORS): up to 30% off for guests 65 and older. “Valid ID must be present at check-in for promotion to apply,” the qualifying guest must be present, and the limit is two rooms per ID. More options are collected in our senior discounts master list.
Auto club (GWLDRIVER): up to 30% off for “any auto or vehicle club members.” Great Wolf does not name specific clubs. You need a valid driver’s license and proof of membership in a “qualifying club” at check-in, again limited to two rooms per ID.
Day passes and the Day Pass Bundle
If you are local, a day pass may save more than any room code. Great Wolf’s day pass page advertises passes “from $35,” with prices varying by lodge. A full Day Pass gives water park access “from open to close,” and a Half Day Pass runs from 4:00 pm to close. Children 2 and under are free.
Day passes are “non refundable and all sales are final.” Availability is capped, and sold-out dates can’t be selected. The buyer must be at least 21. Coolers and outside food are not permitted.
The Day Pass Bundle (WPBUNDLE on the Baltimore/Perryville deals page) adds bundled entry to select attractions with a full day pass. The bundle’s own page did not list which attractions, so check the lodge before you count on a specific one.
Voyagers Club: the free loyalty program
The Voyagers Club is free. Members earn 1 point for every $10 of qualifying spend, which Great Wolf describes as “Earn 10% back.” Packages, cabanas, add-ons and suite charges earn too; alcohol, taxes, gratuities and fees do not.
Points can only be redeemed on “the room portion of a future stay,” booked on greatwolf.com while logged in (not by phone), and not at Niagara. The club is the one exception to the no-stacking rule: personalized Bonus Deals can be combined with deal codes and points, though not every member gets the same ones. Deposits, cancellation and fees that change the math
- Deposit: Great Wolf is a “pre-deposit resort.” The first night plus tax and fees is charged at booking.
- Standard rate: changes or cancellations are free within 24 hours of booking. After that, “Cancellations are not permitted and will result in full forfeiture of your deposit.”
- Flexible rate: the deposit is fully refundable if you cancel any time before arrival.
- Flex Trip add-on: the Illinois packages page lists it at $34.99 per package, to avoid additional cancellation fees up to 48 hours before arrival.
- Resort fees: the Voyagers terms say “Resort fees, surcharges, gratuities, and similar charges may still apply.” We could not find a published amount (see below).
- Water park time: check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m., but suite guests get water park access from opening on arrival day until closing on departure day.
How to save at Great Wolf Lodge without a coupon
- Book 60 or more days out if your dates are fixed. That is where the deepest published percentage lives.
- Stay longer rather than going more often. Both the Early Saver tiers and Triple Fun reward three or more nights.
- Bring your own food to the suite. The FAQ says “Outside food and drinks are permitted in your suite,” though not in the water park.
- Price attraction passes (Pup, Paw and Wolf Pass) against what your kids will actually use. Several packages list no price online, and packages vary by lodge.
- Plan around Great Wolf’s seasonal sales. Our big deal days calendar shows when travel sales tend to cluster.
What we could not verify
- Whether a given code works on every suite and date you choose. We did not run a checkout test, and every page says discounts vary by date.
- The amount of any resort fee. Great Wolf’s terms mention resort fees may apply, but we found no published amount or list of what it covers.
- The Scary Savings Sale amount. It was listed differently on the pages we read (up to $80/night on the main deals page, $41/night on Baltimore/Perryville, up to $36/night on Chicago/Gurnee). The booking window on the Chicago/Gurnee listing has since closed.
- Whether the same code is used at every lodge. We confirmed codes on specific lodge pages and did not check all of them.
- The amount, code and verification method for Heroes Day Pass Savings and the attraction list for the Day Pass Bundle. Their own pages did not show these details.
- How much a Voyagers point is worth when redeemed. The page says “Earn 10% back” but we did not see a fixed redemption value.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use two Great Wolf Lodge promo codes on one booking?
No. The deal pages say offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. The exception is a Voyagers Club Bonus Deal, which the Voyagers page says can be combined with deal codes and points.
Does Great Wolf Lodge have a military discount?
Yes, through the Howlin’ Heroes offer, code GWLHEROES, for active, retired and veteran military among other groups. It is up to 40% off the room rate, and eligibility is checked through ID.me.
Can I cancel a Great Wolf reservation?
On a standard rate, only within 24 hours of booking. After that the deposit (first night plus tax and fees) is forfeited. A flexible rate allows a full deposit refund any time before arrival.
