Merchant: Journeys (journeys.com) · What this page covers: the Journeys All Access rewards program, the $10 off $75 sign-up offer, free shipping, the student discount, sale sections, text sign-up and returns · Sources: Journeys’ own pages, listed under Offer provenance.
Is there a promo code for Journeys right now? Journeys does not publish a public, type-it-in promo code on its own site. What it does advertise, on its header banner and its “Ways To Save” promotions page, is “Get $10 off $75 + Free Shipping” for joining its free rewards program, Journeys All Access. It also links a student offer through Student Beans (“$10 Off $75!”), runs Women’s and Men’s “Half Off Sale” collections, and gives All Access members a birthday reward and an anniversary coupon. A Journeys code you cannot trace back to journeys.com is unconfirmed; our guide on how to spot fake coupon sites explains why.

How Journeys All Access works
Journeys calls its loyalty program Journeys All Access. You will also see it described as “Journeys Rewards” in the program FAQ, which says sign-up “is completely free.” The terms say members must be at least 13, an individual, and a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or Canada. You can join on journeys.com with your name, phone number, date of birth and zip code. You can also join in a store, but you need a journeys.com account to see your points.
The three tiers
The All Access page lists three tiers:
- General Admission (free to join): free shipping, early sale notification, priority on customer service calls, exclusive sweepstakes access, a welcome gift, and a 10% birthday reward.
- Front Row (“Spend $200”): a 15% birthday reward, a first-year anniversary reward, a tier upgrade reward, bonus point promotions, and exclusive event invites.
- Ultimate Access (“Spend $500”): “Double Points on Every Purchase,” a 20% birthday reward, an annual anniversary reward, a tier upgrade reward, and exclusive member deals and coupons.
The terms add that you reach Ultimate Access by spending $500 on eligible products within 12 months of your last tier change. The All Access page does not say over what period the $200 Front Row spend is measured.
Earning points
Members earn 10 points per $1 on qualifying purchases in U.S. stores, on journeys.com, and at Journeys mobile stores at events. Ultimate Access members earn 20 points per $1. Points normally post within 24 to 96 hours.
You do not earn points on gift card purchases, sales tax, gift boxes or wrapping, or shipping and handling. If you return an item, the points from that purchase are taken back. Earning is also capped at 8,000 transactional points and 2,000 engagement points per calendar month.
Example: a pair of shoes with a $90 subtotal earns 900 points at General Admission and 1,800 points at Ultimate Access. At 10 points per $1, the monthly cap of 8,000 transactional points works out to $800 of qualifying spend. At 20 points per $1, it works out to $400. (Our math, not a Journeys quote.)
What points can and cannot do
This is where Journeys’ own pages are less clear. The All Access page says “Trade in your points to claim cash rewards” and lets you use points to enter monthly sweepstakes. The join page says points can be redeemed “for rewards on later purchases.” But the full terms say “Members cannot redeem Points directly for merchandise discounts, gift cards, or products sold by Journeys.” Instead, the terms describe physical rewards, digital rewards and sweepstakes entries, with “reward dollars” capped at $500 per year. The terms do not publish a points-to-dollars conversion chart. So we cannot tell you what 1,000 points is worth.
Some rules are clear:
- Unredeemed points expire 12 months after they were earned (for a purchase, 12 months after the purchase date).
- Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred. You lose them if you cancel your membership or the program ends.
- Sweepstakes entry costs are published. The monthly $100 gift card drawing costs 100 points per entry, and you need a balance of at least 250 points to enter. Brand bundle drawings, such as the Timberland, UGG and Birkenstock bundles, cost 500 points per entry.
Birthday and anniversary rewards
The birthday reward is 10%, 15% or 20% depending on your tier. The All Access page does not explain exactly how it is delivered or how long it lasts. The Member Anniversary offer has its own terms. It is a coupon “good for $10 off a purchase of $75 or more,” which you can claim during your anniversary month. Once claimed, it is good for 30 days. If you do not claim it during your anniversary month, “the offer will become invalid.”
The $10 off $75 sign-up offer and free shipping
The banner offer most people see is “Get $10 off $75 + Free Shipping.” The All Access page describes it as “$10 OFF YOUR FIRST ORDER OF $75 OR MORE.” On a $75 order, that saves about 13%. (Our math, not a Journeys quote.) We could not find published exclusions, an expiration window, or whether the $75 minimum is counted before or after tax.
Free shipping is a core membership perk. The All Access page says “Free Shipping on All Orders,” and the join page says “Free ground shipping all day, every day.” The pickup page says the same thing: shipping is free for All Access members. Journeys’ pages are not consistent about non-members, though. The promotions page’s metadata mentions “Free Shipping On Orders Over $39.98,” and the Half Off Sale collection pages say “Free shipping and 365-day returns” without mentioning membership.
In-store pickup
With Buy Online Pickup In Store, orders are often ready the same day if placed by 5pm Monday through Saturday or 3pm Sunday, depending on store hours. Buy Online Ship To Store orders are typically ready in 3 to 5 business days. Stores hold orders for up to 5 days.
Journeys student discount, military and teacher discounts
Journeys links a Student Discount page under its “For You” menu, and its promotions page lists a Student Beans offer reading “$10 Off $75!” Student Beans is a third-party student verification service. The Student Discount page did not show us the full terms, such as how often you can use it or what is excluded. For other retailers that offer student pricing, see our student discounts master list.
Military and teacher discounts: we found no military, first responder, teacher or senior discount published anywhere on journeys.com. If you need a footwear retailer that does publish a service-member discount, see how the Under Armour military, first responder and teacher discount works.
Half Off Sale, the Sale section and Journeys Kidz
Journeys runs a dedicated Sale page, which it describes as “all of Journeys discounted or sale-marked items in one location.” It is split into Women’s Sale, Men’s Sale and Kidz Sale. Separately, it has Womens Half Off Sale and Mens Half Off Sale collections. The women’s collection names brands such as Fila, Chaco, Converse and Puma. Neither collection page lists dates, exclusions, or whether every item is exactly 50% off.
For children’s shoes, Journeys Kidz items appear under the Kidz Sale menu and in the kids’ sections of the main site. We did not find a separate Kidz-only coupon. We also did not find any buy-one-get-one (BOGO) event on Journeys’ promotions or sale pages when we checked.
How to save at Journeys without a coupon
- Join All Access before your first order. It is free, it unlocks the $10 off $75 first-order offer, and it gives you free ground shipping.
- Combine your purchases. Points expire after 12 months, and higher tiers need $200 or $500 in spending. One larger order earns points faster than several small orders spread out over time.
- Claim the anniversary coupon during your anniversary month and use it within 30 days.
- Check the Sale and Half Off Sale collections first, especially for brands that rotate through them.
- Verify through Student Beans if you are a student.
- Compare with other sporting and footwear retailers. Our guides to Academy Sports coupons, Dunham’s Sports coupons and Birkenstock discounts explain how those stores price similar products.
What we could not verify
- Whether the $10 off $75 sign-up offer needs a code or applies automatically, and whether it has exclusions or an expiration window.
- The free shipping threshold for shoppers who are not members (Journeys’ pages mention both $39.98 and “Free Shipping on All Orders” for members).
- The return window. The sale page metadata says “60-day returns,” while the Half Off Sale pages say “365-day returns.” The Returns & Exchanges help article did not load its text for us.
- Any price-adjustment policy. None appears on the pages we could read.
- The points-to-reward conversion rate, and how that fits with the terms’ rule against redeeming points for merchandise discounts.
- How long the birthday reward lasts and how it is delivered.
- Full Student Beans terms, including how often you can use the offer and what is excluded.
- What, if anything, first-time text subscribers receive after texting JOIN to 20101.
- Whether member coupons stack with Half Off Sale prices.
