King Arthur Baking does not publish a sitewide free shipping code on its own pages. Its shipping rates go up with your order total, with no free-shipping threshold listed. What it does offer: free standard shipping on appliances and on certain individual items, a free standard shipping coupon once a year for Baker’s Rewards Gold members on qualifying $75+ orders, and 20% off a first order of $50 or more when you sign up for its emails. For one bag of flour, buying it at a grocery store usually costs less than shipping it, since the shipping charge can be more than the flour.

Is there a King Arthur flour free shipping code?
None of King Arthur’s own pages show one. The Shipping Information page lists only tiered rates. No order total qualifies you for free shipping. Free shipping does show up in three narrower places:
- Appliances. The Current Promotions page lists free standard shipping on all appliances. No code is required.
- Individual items tagged “Free Shipping.” In the gift and sale sections, some products carry this tag. Examples are the gift card, the Sourdough Sidekick, the Brod & Taylor Sourdough Home, the Thermapen ONE, and the Marcato Electric Pasta Machine on the sale page. The tag covers that product only, not the rest of your order.
- Baker’s Rewards Gold. Gold members get one free standard shipping coupon a year, good on a qualifying purchase of $75 or more. The terms say this is “only during select time periods.” Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories still pay $9.50.
A site claiming to have a sitewide King Arthur free shipping code should be able to show you where it came from. When we searched, some results pointed to lookalike shop domains that were not kingarthurbaking.com. Look at the address bar before you enter payment details. Our guide on spotting fake coupon sites covers the warning signs.
What shipping actually costs
The Shipping Information page lists these standard rates for the contiguous U.S.:
| Order total | Standard | Standard Plus | 2-Day | Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to $39.99 | $9.95 | $12.95 | $21.95 | $35.95 |
| $40–$59.99 | $12.95 | $15.95 | $24.95 | $38.95 |
| $60–$89.99 | $14.95 | $17.95 | $26.95 | $40.95 |
| $90–$109.99 | $15.95 | $18.95 | $27.95 | $41.95 |
| $110–$149.99 | $16.95 | $19.95 | $28.95 | $42.95 |
| $150 and up | $17.95 | $20.95 | $29.95 | $43.95 |
Standard orders ship in 1–2 business days and take 5–8 calendar days in transit. Standard Plus, 2-Day, and Overnight ship the next business day. King Arthur ships only to U.S. states and territories. APO and FPO addresses are upgraded to USPS Priority Mail at no extra charge and pay standard rates. Orders placed on weekends or on the holidays the page lists, including Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, ship the next business day. The page gives no holiday ship-by deadlines.
Honest math: what these offers are worth
One bag of flour shipped
The shop lists Unbleached All-Purpose Flour at $6.95. Its product images point to a 5 lb bag. An order that small pays $9.95 for standard shipping, so the total before tax is $16.90. Shipping costs more than the flour. This is why people search for a free shipping code, and also why ordering flour by itself online is rarely the cheap way to buy it.
The 20% new-subscriber discount
The discount applies to a first order of $50 or more. On a $60 order it is worth $12. Standard shipping on a $60 order is $14.95, and the sign-up page does not say the discount covers shipping. The order still costs more than $60 delivered, but less than it would without the discount.
The 10% sets and bundles discount
The Special Savings page lists the Pumpkin-Pecan Pie Bundle at $65.52, down from $72.80, a saving of $7.28. That order still lands in the $60–$89.99 shipping tier, so standard shipping is $14.95.
The Gold free shipping coupon
On a $75 order, free standard shipping saves the $14.95 rate for that tier. On a $150 order, it saves $17.95. You get one coupon a year, and the terms say rewards cannot be combined with other serialized discounts or promo codes.
How Baker’s Rewards works
According to the Baker’s Rewards terms, individual U.S. residents 18 or older can join with an email address. Joining also signs you up for marketing emails, which you can opt out of. Businesses, schools, and other bulk buyers are not eligible.
- Basic tier: 1 point per $1 spent on qualifying merchandise.
- Gold tier: 1.25 points per $1 on orders under $150 and 1.5 points per $1 on orders over $150, plus the yearly free shipping coupon. You qualify by spending $200 or more, or earning 200 tier-qualifying points, in a calendar year. Status is reassessed on January 1.
- Bonus points: 50 points for joining, 100 for reaching Gold (once), 10 for following King Arthur on Instagram with your loyalty email, 10 per approved product review (up to twice a year), and a birthday bonus of 100 points (200 for Gold). Add your birthday at least two days before the date.
- What does not earn points: gift cards, online gift certificates, Baking School classes, tax, and shipping.
- Expiration: points expire 365 days after your last qualifying purchase, and rewards expire 60 days after they are created. You can use one reward per transaction, in store, at the café, or online.
Sales, bundles, and clearance
The Sale page listed 69 items when we checked, including baking tools, ingredients, mixes, pans, and apparel. All are “while supplies last.” The page warns that many sale items have earlier “best before” dates than other products in the shop, which matters for ingredients and mixes you may not use right away. Some examples from the page: a Polished Aluminum Loaf Pan at $9.58 (was $14.95), Lightweight Measuring Cups at $4.99 (was $10.95), and a Zwilling Four Star 8″ Bread Knife at $49.98 (was $119.95).
The Current Promotions page lists exclusions for its general offers. These include appliances and their accessories, products already discounted, Gozney, Thermapen, Zwilling, Staub Bakeware, Emile Henry Bakeware, gift cards, and Baking School classes. Offers cannot be applied to past or pending orders and cannot be combined.
Gift cards and gifts
The gift card comes in $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, and $200 amounts and is tagged “Free Shipping.” An e-gift card is also offered for faster delivery. The gifts section groups items into ready-to-give gifts, stocking stuffers, appliances, and gifts for bread, cookie, and young bakers, with price filters for under $25, $50, and $100. We did not find a category labeled gift baskets. If you want a food gift basket, our Harry & David guide covers that retailer’s offers.
Returns and the satisfaction guarantee
The Returns & Exchanges page says “We guarantee your satisfaction!” It also says you can return defective merchandise at any time or tell King Arthur if its service fell short. If an item arrives damaged, contact customer service at (800) 827-6836, by email, or by chat. For manufacturer issues, the customer service page says to check the manufacturer’s warranty and contact the manufacturer.
How to save without a coupon
- Buy everyday flour in stores. King Arthur’s product pages say its products are “Available at grocery stores nationwide” and link to a store locator. Buying a bag in store avoids the $9.95 minimum shipping charge. Warehouse clubs are another place to look. Our Costco and Sam’s Club guides explain how their member pricing works. Check the shelf price where you shop, since we could not verify any store prices.
- Use store loyalty programs at retailers. If your local Target carries King Arthur products, Target Circle offers sometimes cover baking staples. Availability varies by store.
- Combine your online orders. Because shipping rises slowly as your order grows ($9.95 up to $39.99, $17.95 at $150 and up), one larger order costs less to ship per item than several small ones. Specialty items you can’t find locally are the best candidates for an online order.
- Aim for the 20% first-order discount. If you are new, sign up for the emails before your first order and make sure the order reaches $50.
- Use the free resources. The Baker’s Hotline puts you in touch with professional bakers at (855) 371-2253, or by chat and email. The Contact page lists hours of 9am–7pm Monday–Friday and 9am–5pm Saturday and Sunday, Eastern. We did not see any charge mentioned for the service.
- Stack carefully. King Arthur’s terms say rewards cannot be combined with other serialized discounts or promo codes. For stacking strategies that do work at other stores, see how to stack coupons, cashback, and rewards.
What we could not verify
- Any sitewide free shipping code or free-shipping order minimum. None appears on King Arthur’s pages.
- How the 20% new-subscriber discount is delivered (code or automatic), whether the $50 minimum is measured before or after other discounts, and which exclusions apply to it. The Current Promotions page says only “New subscribers can save 20% on their first order,” while the sign-up page adds the $50 minimum.
- The details of the “Save $4 on multiple mixes” offer. It appears only as a menu link on the promotions page.
- When Baker’s Rewards Gold free shipping coupons are issued (“select time periods” is not defined) and how many points equal a reward of a given dollar value.
- Whether the Baker’s Hotline is officially free. No fee is mentioned, but the page does not say so.
- Return windows for non-defective items, who pays return shipping, and how refunds are issued.
- Holiday ship-by deadlines. None were published when we checked.
- Grocery or warehouse club prices for King Arthur flour.
- Whether gift card purchases earn points. The gift card page mentions points, but the Baker’s Rewards terms exclude gift cards from earning.
