Merchant: Golden Corral · What this page covers: Golden Corral Rewards and its app offers, the senior discount question, Military Appreciation Night, kids pricing, birthday offers, gift cards, the to-go value deals, and why prices change from one restaurant to the next · Sources: Golden Corral’s own pages, listed under Offer provenance.
Golden Corral coupons are not printable codes you copy from a list. Golden Corral’s own site points to one place for discounts: the Golden Corral Rewards program in the Golden Corral app, where “Offers” work, in the FAQ’s words, “more like coupons.” Golden Corral also publishes a points program (1 point per $1, 100 points for $10 off), a $5-off-$25 bonus for joining through the app, to-go bundles such as the $19.99 Family Value Meal at participating restaurants, and a free buffet and beverage for people who served in the U.S. military on Military Appreciation Night. We found no promo code on any Golden Corral page and list none here.
Golden Corral’s website does not publish a national senior discount, kids prices, or a birthday reward; each is covered below.

How Golden Corral Rewards works
You join Golden Corral Rewards in the app, or online if you have no smartphone. The Rewards page states: “$1 = 1 Point,” and “100 POINTS = $10 OFF REWARD.”
You earn by scanning your receipt, entering its 13-digit receipt code, or scanning at the register. The terms add these rules:
- Register within 72 hours. Points are not earned if you fail to complete the purchase registration within 72 hours of the purchase.
- Points are earned after discounts and before tax and gratuity, according to the FAQ.
- Points expire 365 days after your most recent Rewards activity, and banked rewards stay banked for 365 consecutive days. Accounts inactive for 24 months may be closed, and their points and rewards expire.
- No stacking. A reward may be combined only with other banked rewards, not with any other offer or coupon.
- Exclusions. Rewards cannot be used on alcoholic beverages or gift cards, and buying a gift card does not earn points.
- Where it works. The FAQ says all Golden Corral restaurants in the U.S. and Puerto Rico participate except Punta Gorda, FL. The terms cover both company-operated and franchisee-operated restaurants.
Example (our math): 100 points equals $10 off, and you earn 1 point per $1, so each dollar of qualifying spending earns 10 cents toward a reward, a 10% return. Reaching your first $10 reward takes $100 in qualifying purchases (after discounts, before tax and tip).
Our ranking of restaurant rewards programs compares how other chains state their point values.
The sign-up bonus
The Rewards page offers $5 off your next purchase of $25 after you sign up. Its footnote says the bonus applies only when you join through the app and requires a qualifying purchase of $25 before tax and gratuity.
Example (our math): $5 off a $25 purchase is 20% off that one order.
App offers: where the “coupons” live
Golden Corral’s FAQ describes app Offers as “more like coupons.” The Specials page lists two running through Rewards:
- America $2.50 Value Deals. Golden Corral says these are “exclusive monthly offers inspired by America’s 250th birthday,” covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, To Go, beverages and catering. You need the app and a Rewards account. Items and monthly dates are not listed; check the app.
- Holiday Meals To Go, $10 off. Order a Holiday Feast through the app between October 5 and November 1, 2026 and get $10 off. Pickup begins November 2, 2026, and orders must be placed 72 hours ahead. The offer is not valid through third-party delivery partners or with any other offer or discount. The page does not list the feast price.
Senior discount at Golden Corral: what Golden Corral publishes
Here is the direct answer on the senior discount Golden Corral offers: we found no senior discount, senior price or qualifying age on any Golden Corral page. The FAQ, menu, Rewards, Specials and Family Value Meals pages and a sample restaurant page (Elkton, MD) show no senior pricing; the location page shows no prices at all.
What that means in practice:
- Any senior price is set locally, if at all. Golden Corral’s terms describe many restaurants as “independently owned and operated franchisees,” and the location page warns that menu items “vary by location, day of the week, time of day, holidays.” A senior price at one restaurant says nothing about another.
- Call the restaurant (each location page lists a phone number) and ask whether there is a senior price, what age qualifies, and which meal periods it covers.
- Be wary of “senior menu” price lists that do not link back to Golden Corral; see our guide to spotting fake coupon sites.
For chains that do publish a senior program and age, see our senior discounts master list.
Military Appreciation Night
Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation page says the event is on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 (Veterans Day), from 4 p.m. to close. It is open to “any person who has served in the U.S. Military (retirees, veterans, active duty, National Guard or Reserves),” who receives a free “thank you” buffet and beverage.
- Family and friends can come, but “other guests will pay the regular dinner menu pricing.”
- “There are no rain checks,” and there are no take-out meals tied to the dinner.
- The page does not list participating locations or say what proof of service, if any, is requested. Call your restaurant before you go.
Golden Corral’s pages describe no year-round military discount. Our military discounts master list covers year-round programs elsewhere.
Kids pricing and the $2.50 kids breakfast
Golden Corral’s site does not publish kids prices or the age brackets that set them; those are set by each restaurant. Golden Corral’s Press Room links to a release about value deals for America’s 250th, which press coverage connects to a $2.50 Kids Weekend Breakfast Buffet. The release itself is a PDF that would not render for us, so we could not confirm the terms, ages or end date, and we list it as unverified. Check the Rewards offers in the app or ask your restaurant.
Birthday offers
Golden Corral does not offer one. Asked about a birthday reward, the FAQ says: “Not currently. In the future, we may add this benefit to Golden Corral Rewards.”
To-go value deals
The Family Value Meals page lists a $19.99 To Go meal (“feed your family of four for $5 each”) with entrées for four, two family-size sides, yeast rolls with honey butter and cookies. It is available after 4 p.m. daily at participating locations; the page lists roughly 126 of them in 32 states.
The Specials page also lists a To Go wing bundle: 25 traditional bone-in Buffalo wings for $25, or 50 Boneless Buffalo Bites for $25, for a limited time through the Golden Corral app and goldencorral.com only, not through third-party delivery apps.
Example (our math): $19.99 for four people is about $5.00 a person. The wing bundle is $1.00 per bone-in wing, or $0.50 per boneless bite.
Gift cards
Per the FAQ, gift cards come in amounts from $5 to $50, do not expire, and may be redeemed “at any Golden Corral restaurant across the country.” The Gift Cards page says Golden Corral sells cards only at its restaurants and on goldencorral.com and is not responsible for cards bought through resale outlets. The online store would not load without JavaScript, so we could not see any current bonus-card promotion.
Why prices differ by location
Golden Corral publishes no national menu prices. Its terms describe company-operated and “independently owned and operated” franchise restaurants, and its location pages note that menu items vary by location, day of the week, time of day and holiday. The price at your restaurant is the only one that counts.
The same pattern shows up at other sit-down chains; compare our explainers on Texas Roadhouse coupons, Red Lobster coupons and Olive Garden’s eClub.
How to save at Golden Corral without a coupon
- Join Rewards through the app, not online, so you qualify for the $5-off-$25 bonus.
- Register every receipt within 72 hours, and keep some activity within 365 days so points don’t lapse.
- Check the app’s Offers before ordering. The America $2.50 Value Deals change monthly and live only there.
- Order to-go meals on goldencorral.com or in the app rather than through third-party delivery, since the wing bundle and holiday $10 off exclude delivery partners.
Golden Corral’s one-offer-at-a-time rule means picking the largest discount you qualify for; see our guide on stacking coupons, cashback and rewards.
What we could not verify
- Any senior discount, senior price or qualifying age; none appears on Golden Corral’s pages.
- Kids prices and age brackets, and the terms of the $2.50 Kids Weekend Breakfast Buffet; the release PDF would not render.
- The individual monthly America $2.50 Value Deals items, which appear only in the app.
- Menu prices at any restaurant; the online ordering menu blocked automated access and the location page we checked shows no prices.
- Which restaurants host Military Appreciation Night and whether proof of service is requested.
- Gift card bonus promotions or e-gift options; the gift card store requires JavaScript.
- Where gift cards and Rewards can be used: the FAQ says gift cards work at “any Golden Corral restaurant,” the Rewards FAQ excludes Punta Gorda, FL, and the terms refer to “participating” restaurants. We report all three.
