Promo Codes for Krispy Kreme: How Rewards, Codes and Deals Actually Work

Merchant: Krispy Kreme · What this page covers: Krispy Kreme Rewards, promo codes Krispy Kreme itself has published, current and recently ended promotions, fundraising, delivery and location pricing caveats · Sources: Krispy Kreme’s own pages, listed under Offer provenance.

If you are looking for promo codes for Krispy Kreme, the honest answer is that Krispy Kreme rarely publishes a public code, and when it does, the code is tied to a short, dated promotion. The most recent one we found on Krispy Kreme’s own pages, COFFEE, applied to a $5 dozen deal that ran September 26–29, 2026 and has ended. What actually saves money at Krispy Kreme right now is mostly code-free: the Krispy Kreme Rewards program (10 points per $1 on qualifying purchases plus a free doughnut for joining), dated in-shop promotions such as the free doughnut for guests in costume on October 30–31, 2026, and a fundraising offer that adds 10 free products when a group buys 50 (through October 30, 2026). Below is what each offer is, where it came from, and what we could not confirm.

How Krispy Kreme Rewards works

Krispy Kreme Rewards is the free loyalty program in the Krispy Kreme app and on krispykreme.com. The terms say members must be at least 13 and that the program covers the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., not Puerto Rico or other territories.

Earning. Members receive 10 points for every $1.00 spent on qualifying purchases, calculated before taxes and fees. Points post automatically for signed-in app and online orders, or in shop when you identify yourself as a member, usually within 24 hours. A missing purchase can be claimed within 30 days using the receipt.

What doesn’t earn points. Gift cards, merchandise, catering orders and fundraiser purchases are excluded, so a big office or school order won’t build your balance.

Redeeming. The Rewards page lists four tiers:

  • A single doughnut, a 10-count of Original Glazed doughnut dots, or a brewed coffee or similar drink
  • A 3-count of doughnuts or a specialty latte
  • A 6-count of doughnuts
  • A dozen Original Glazed or Classic Assorted doughnuts

The point cost of each tier appears in the app’s Rewards Menu but was not shown on the pages we could read, so we have not listed point prices. The terms also say Krispy Kreme can change the Rewards Menu and point requirements without advance notice.

Example (our math): At 10 points per $1, a $14.50 pre-tax order earns 145 points, and the tax and any delivery fee add nothing. If your order includes a $25 gift card, that $25 earns zero, because gift cards are excluded. To know how many orders it takes to reach the dozen tier, check its point cost in the app, then divide by 10 to get the dollars of qualifying spending you need.

Expiration rules to watch

Two different clocks run in the Rewards terms:

  • Points expire after 365 consecutive days of account inactivity. Only qualifying purchases or reward redemptions count as activity. Receiving bonus points does not.
  • Rewards expire 30 days after they first appear in your account.

Example (our math): If you convert points into a dozen reward and that reward shows up in your account on the 1st of a month, you have about 30 days to use it. Converting points too early can turn a points balance that lasts as long as you keep buying into a reward that disappears in a month. If you aren’t planning a visit soon, it is usually smarter to leave points as points.

Accounts inactive for 730 consecutive days can be cancelled, and each person may hold only one account.

Joining bonus, birthday and anniversary

The Rewards page also advertises a free doughnut with your next purchase when you join, “a sweet birthday gift,” and “2X points” for your Rewards anniversary. It doesn’t say what the birthday gift is or how long it lasts, and the Rewards terms don’t mention one, so give a correct birthdate at sign-up and check the app. If you want to compare how Krispy Kreme’s program stacks up against other chains, see our restaurant rewards programs ranked guide.

Promo codes Krispy Kreme has published

Krispy Kreme’s codes have come as app codes tied to a dated promotion, alongside personal “Special Rewards Offers” for members. The most recent public code we found was COFFEE. A Krispy Kreme press release said it unlocked a $5 dozen with any regular-price dozen, one per guest in the app for pickup and delivery; in shop the limit was two per guest with no code. That promotion ran September 26–29, 2026 and is expired, so the code should not be expected to work.

Example (our math): When that deal ran, buying two dozen cost one regular dozen plus $5. Because the regular dozen price varies by shop, the savings were the regular dozen price minus $5. If your shop’s regular dozen cost more, you saved more.

Special Rewards Offers are personal, non-transferable member offers with their own short redemption windows, so someone else’s code may not work on your account. The Terms of Use also warn that “discounts, coupons, and other offers may not be able to be combined with online ordering.” A coupon disclaimer on the offers page says that coupon is in-shop only, limited to three per guest per transaction, and not valid in Times Square, Puerto Rico, or grocery and convenience stores. The coupon itself wasn’t shown.

If you find a “Krispy Kreme promo code” on a site that isn’t Krispy Kreme’s own, be skeptical. Our guide on how to spot fake coupon sites explains the warning signs.

Current dated promotions

Halloween costume doughnut. A Krispy Kreme press release says guests who visit participating shops in costume on Friday, October 30 or Saturday, October 31, 2026 can get a free Original Glazed or Classic Ring doughnut, with no purchase necessary. That was the only free-item promotion with dates that we found still upcoming.

Seasonal products. The Looney Tunes Halloween Collection (October 6–31, 2026, per Krispy Kreme’s Halloween page) and the autumn doughnuts and lattes are limited-edition products, not discounts. The $13 Looney Tunes Lab Dozen ran only October 13–15, 2026 and has ended.

Fundraising with Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme offers classic in-shop fundraising (buy doughnuts to resell, or collect orders and pick up) and Digital Dozens (supporters get emailed certificates to redeem at participating shops). The fundraising page says groups can earn “up to 50%” of the profit. Minimums and per-dozen costs weren’t stated on pages we could read.

The current offer adds 10 free fundraising products when a group buys 50 of the same fundraising product in one transaction, placed and picked up September 23 through October 30, 2026. No code is required. Digital Dozens freebies are emailed separately after payment. It can’t be combined with other offers, is valid at participating U.S. shops, and the group pays sales tax.

Example (our math): 50 paid units plus 10 free gives 60 units. That lowers the cost per unit by one-sixth, about 16.7%, compared with buying 60 at full price. If the group resells at its normal price, those 10 extra units are added profit. Remember that fundraiser purchases don’t earn Rewards points.

Delivery, online ordering and location pricing

Krispy Kreme’s Terms of Use say franchised stores are independently owned and not every store carries every item. Not all stores deliver. Where they do, delivery is “subject to varying charges and fees,” minimums “may vary by location,” and the delivery charge is not a driver tip.

In practice, prices, including a regular dozen, vary by location. Check your shop’s menu in the app. If you’re weighing Krispy Kreme delivery against ordering through a delivery app, our guides to Grubhub promo codes, Uber promo codes and Instacart promo codes explain how those platforms’ fees and promotions work. Krispy Kreme’s own pages didn’t say whether third-party delivery orders earn Rewards points.

The Hot Light

The Hot Light isn’t a discount. Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed page says that when it’s on, fresh Original Glazed doughnuts are available right then. Hours are set by each shop. One Jacksonville, Florida shop page listed 7–9 a.m. and 5–7 p.m. daily, and other shops may differ.

How to save at Krispy Kreme without a coupon

  • Join Krispy Kreme Rewards before your first order to get the free joining doughnut, and always scan or sign in so purchases earn 10 points per $1.
  • Don’t convert points into rewards until you’re ready to use them, because rewards expire 30 days after they appear.
  • Make a qualifying purchase or redemption at least once a year so points don’t expire after 365 days of inactivity.
  • Check the offers page and app around food holidays; recent dated deals lasted only a few days.
  • Choose pickup over delivery when you can, since delivery fees vary and some coupons don’t work online.
  • Time group fundraising orders to fit a promotion window like the buy-50-get-10 offer.
  • See our guide on stacking coupons, cashback and rewards, keeping in mind Krispy Kreme limits combining some offers.

What we could not verify

  • The point cost of each Rewards tier. It isn’t shown on the pages we could read.
  • What the birthday gift is, when it is issued and when it expires. The Rewards page names it, but its FAQ answers were not readable for us and the terms don’t mention it.
  • How long the anniversary 2X points bonus lasts.
  • Whether Rewards points are earned on third-party delivery, grocery or convenience store purchases.
  • “Day of the Dozens” or any recurring annual event. It appears only as a page keyword, with no current dates or terms.
  • Delivery fees, minimums or regular menu prices for any specific shop.
