Does Lowe’s have coupon codes? Yes, but not the kind you find by typing “Lowe’s promo code” into a search bar. Lowe’s issues targeted, one-time coupons — for example, an “up to $5 off a $50 purchase” coupon whose published terms say it is one per household, expires on the date printed on the coupon, and arrives with a code you enter in the “Promotional Code” box. Lowe’s does not publish a public, reusable code that works for everyone. Any site listing a “universal” Lowe’s code is guessing.
The savings anyone can use come from programs: MyLowe’s Rewards (free; points convert to MyLowe’s Money), a 10% military discount on most full-price items, 5% off with the MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card, and a Lowest Price Guarantee. Most do not stack — pick one discount per item, then layer rewards on top.

MyLowe’s Rewards: how the points actually pay out
MyLowe’s Rewards is Lowe’s free loyalty program for DIY shoppers, tied to a Lowes.com personal account. In store, scan your Member ID in the Lowe’s app or give your phone number; online, sign in before checkout. Points post after an order is “settled and fulfilled,” and exclusions apply.
The conversion is published: once you reach 500 points, Lowe’s adds $5 in MyLowe’s Money to your Lowes.com wallet. That makes each point worth one cent.
The earning rate is not printed on the current rewards page (the tier chart there is an image). Lowe’s launch announcement for the program on corporate.lowes.com listed three tiers:
- Bronze: 1 point per dollar, plus free standard shipping on eligible purchases of $35 or more.
- Silver: 1.25 points per dollar, plus free standard shipping with no minimum on eligible items.
- Gold: 1.5 points per dollar, plus free standard shipping with no minimum on eligible items.
Example math using those launch rates: a Bronze member spending $500 on eligible items earns 500 points, which converts to $5 — about 1% back. Silver earns 625 points (1.25%); Gold earns 750 (1.5%). Treat this as a modest rebate, not a discount.
Tier status is based on spending during a program period; Lowe’s does not print the thresholds in text. Two shortcuts to Silver are published: verified military members get it automatically, and MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card holders move to Silver once the card is saved to their wallet.
MyLowe’s Money rules: no cash back, nontransferable, limit 5 per transaction, applied after discounts, taxes and fees, and not usable on gift cards, card payments, or Weber, Kichler or Miele products. Points expire 12 months after your last points-earning activity, so any purchase that earns points keeps the balance alive. Missed an in-store scan? Upload the receipt within 45 days.
MyLowe’s Money Days: how the event works
EXPIRED: the most recent MyLowe’s Money Days event Lowe’s listed ran 10/6/26 to 10/14/26 and has ended. Check Lowe’s MyLowe’s Money Days page for the next one. Under that event’s terms: spend $200 or more (after discounts, before taxes) and MyLowe’s Rewards members get $10 in MyLowe’s Money; Lowe’s credit card holders get $20. The limit is 4 offers per rewards account or Pro Rewards organization. MyLowe’s Money from this event expires 30 days after it is issued.
Example math: a $200 basket earns $10 back (5%) for a member, or $20 back (10%) for a cardholder. Four qualifying $200 receipts max out at $40 (member) or $80 (cardholder). That event has ended, so use these figures to judge the next Money Days event, not as a live offer.
Lowe’s military discount: 10%, with real limits
The Everyday Military Discount is 10% off eligible purchases, applying to “most full-price products.” It does not apply to sale items. There is no annual cap — Lowe’s states “There is no annual maximum discount.”
Who qualifies: current or former members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, NOAA, USPHS Commissioned Corps and National Guard, plus spouses of enrolled, verified service members. Spouses must open their own MyLowe’s Rewards account and verify separately. Lowe’s states “Dishonorably discharged veterans aren’t eligible.”
How to register: verify through ID.me at Lowes.com/military/validation after signing in to (or creating) a Lowe’s account. Your profile shows “Status Verified” when it works. Online, the discount applies automatically when you are signed in. In store, give the cashier your phone number and show a valid photo ID. Verified members also get a free upgrade to Silver status.
Exclusions: sale items, major appliances (including parts and accessories), commodities such as electrical wire, dimensional lumber, plywood and OSB, gift cards, previous purchases, fees, installation, rentals, labor, delivery, shipping and extended protection plans. It can’t be combined with any other offer, including the Lowest Price Guarantee, the card’s 5% discount, volume pricing or manager price adjustments.
Example math: $300 of full-price tools and hardware saves $30 with the military discount, versus $15 with the 5% card discount. Military wins whenever the items are eligible. Lowe’s price match: the Lowest Price Guarantee
Lowe’s matches the price of an identical in-stock item from a local competitor, or an identical item from an online retailer that can ship to your location, with shipping or delivery costs included in the comparison. In store, show an associate the ad, web page, printout or photo. For online orders, use chat or call 1-877-465-6937; only the purchaser can submit the request.
What won’t be matched: special-order items, open-box/clearance/closeout items, BOGO and bundled promotions, military or loyalty pricing, warehouse-club pricing, marketplace and auction sellers, pricing errors, and price differences between Lowe’s stores. Items sold by Amazon itself qualify; items sold by third-party sellers on Amazon do not. The guarantee cannot be combined with other Lowe’s offers, discounts or coupons.
Example math: a drill listed at $99 at Lowe’s and $89 shipped free from a qualifying online retailer gets matched to $89 — $10 saved. You cannot then add the 5% card discount or the military discount on top.
MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card (Lowe’s Advantage Card) offers
Lowe’s credit card offers page is titled “MyLowe’s Rewards Credit Card Offers,” though its web address still uses the Lowe’s Advantage Card name, and the rewards page refers to both. All offers are subject to credit approval.
- 5% off every day on eligible card purchases. It does not combine with the military discount, Lowest Price Guarantee or volume programs, and excludes services, fees, gift cards and Weber, Kichler or Miele products.
- 20% off one purchase for new accounts, maximum $100 discount, one per new account. It does not stack with the 5% — if 5% would be larger than $100, the larger discount applies.
- 6 months special financing on purchases of $299 or more. If not paid in full, interest is charged from the purchase date.
- 12 months special financing on appliances, installed flooring and installed HVAC, $299 minimum, listed as limited time.
- Fixed-payment plans at a reduced 9.99% APR on larger purchases ($2,000+, or $2,500+ for installed HVAC).
Only one credit offer applies per item. Lowe’s lists a 31.99% purchase APR for new accounts.
Example math on the new-account offer: 20% hits the $100 cap at a $500 purchase. Between $500 and $2,000, you get a flat $100. Above $2,000, the everyday 5% is worth more than $100, so the larger discount applies instead. Carrying a balance at 31.99% APR erases the 5% quickly.
MyLowe’s Pro Rewards for contractors
Pros use a separate program that needs a free Lowe’s Business Account and a different email from any personal MyLowe’s Rewards account. Members earn 1 point per $1 on qualifying purchases, and 100 points = $1 MyLowe’s Money (about 1% back), which expires 60 days after issuance. Points expire twice a year, at the end of June and December.
Published perks include a one-time welcome coupon (up to $20 off $100+), a member volume discount, free delivery in the contiguous U.S. with exclusions, and a 20% paint discount once annual paint spend reaches $3,000. Lowe’s Pro Credit cardmembers get 5% off and an automatic upgrade to Platinum Pro status.
How to save at Lowe’s without a coupon
- Always sign in or give your phone number. Points are the only benefit that layers on top of everything else.
- Pick the single best discount per item: military 10% on eligible full-price items; card 5% on sale items, appliances and lumber that military excludes; price match when a competitor’s price beats your best Lowe’s discount.
- Time big purchases to MyLowe’s Money events like Money Days, which return a flat dollar amount on a $200+ basket.
