The 15% sign-up offer
Princess Polly invites you to “join our group chat for 15% off,” and its SMS Rewards page limits the offer to new subscribers. The confirmation tells you to check your inbox, so the code appears to arrive by email. The same form gives 10 rewards points to new and existing subscribers.
The page lists no minimum spend, expiry or exclusions, but Princess Polly’s Promo Codes page says “coupon codes exclude gift cards, sale and beauty,” so plan on the 15% applying to full-price clothing.
Worked example: a $70 full-price dress with the 15% sign-up code comes to $59.50, a saving of $10.50. Because it stays over $50, standard shipping is still free. A $55 top, by contrast, drops to $46.75 after 15% off, which puts the order under the $50 free-shipping line if the threshold is measured after discounts. Princess Polly’s pages do not say which way it is measured, so watch the bag total.
Princess Polly Rewards: tiers, points and what they are worth
Princess Polly Rewards is free to join. You earn 1 point per $1 spent, plus 50 bonus points on every third purchase, and extra points for tasks such as signing up for texts or posting photo reviews (10 points per photo, per the help center). You must be logged in when you order to earn points, and purchases made before you joined do not count.

The Rewards page also lists perks such as early sale access, an extra 10% off sale, 30% off Top Sellers and a monthly $100 gift card draw, but the cells showing which tier gets each perk were blank when we read it.
What the tiers really cost to reach
Because points come in at 1 per $1, tier thresholds are essentially spending thresholds. Reaching Front Row takes about $300 in purchases, VIP about $700, and Backstage Pass about $2,500, minus whatever bonus points you collect. Every third order adds 50 points, so a shopper who places three $100 orders ends up with 350 points, enough for Front Row.
Princess Polly does not publish a points-to-dollar value; points move you between tiers, and tiers unlock percentage-off rewards. Worked example: a new member using the 15% General Admission reward on an $80 full-price order saves $12 and pays $68. A Front Row member using the 20% reward on the same order saves $16.
The fine print that matters
- Rewards expire fast. Princess Polly’s help center says tier-earned rewards expire after 30 days, birthday rewards after 3 months and anniversary rewards after 14 days.
- Sale items are excluded. Discount rewards do not apply to sale items or gift card purchases.
- Refunds cost you points. Returning for a refund deducts points; returning for a gift card or exchange keeps them.
- Points and tiers can lapse. Points can expire after 12 months, and you keep a tier for 12 months before dropping down if you earn nothing new.
- US and Australian accounts are separate. Points cannot move between the two sites.
Student discount
Princess Polly’s Student Discounts page says verified students at accredited US colleges and universities, including graduate students, get a minimum of 15% off through UNiDAYS or Student Beans. UNiDAYS wants a .edu email; Student Beans accepts a school email or an uploaded student ID. Each generated code lasts 24 hours, but you can generate a new one, and the page says there is no minimum purchase and no limit on how often you use it while your student status is active.
Worked example: 15% off a $60 full-price pair of jeans saves $9, for a total of $51.
This is the offer where Princess Polly’s pages disagree most:
- The Student Discounts page says students get an additional minimum 5% off sale items.
- The homepage and Promo Codes banners say “extra 10% off sale student discount.”
- The Terms and Conditions page names only Student Beans and says the student discount excludes sale items, select products, certain brands or categories, and gift cards.
- The Black Friday page says student discount codes cannot be used during the Black Friday sale.

Sales: Top Sellers and the warehouse sale
The homepage advertised “30% off Top Sellers” and an online warehouse sale marked up to 80% off, with sale sections grouped at 40%, 50%, 60%, 70% and 80% off. The Top Sellers collection page is titled “Rewards Exclusive” and says to join Princess Polly Rewards, which suggests membership is needed, though it does not spell out eligibility or list a code. Neither sale showed an end date.
“Up to 80% off” describes the deepest markdown, not every item. Final sale items cannot be returned, and coupon codes generally exclude sale items, so the 15% sign-up code will not usually stack on a markdown.
Shipping and returns: where the hidden costs are
Shipping
Free standard US shipping kicks in on orders over $50. Below that, the Shipping Information page shows two rate tables without saying which is current: one lists standard at $9.99, the other at $6.99. Faster options cost extra even over $50 (2-day is $15.00 or $15.99 depending on the table), although the page’s own description mentions free 2-day shipping.
Worked example: a $44 order pays $6.99 or $9.99 for standard shipping depending on which table applies. Add a $7 item and the order crosses $50 and ships free, so you pay $7 for something you keep instead of up to $9.99 for postage.
Returns
US orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery for an exchange, a gift card or a refund. The Returns & Exchanges page says a $6.95 return shipping fee is deducted from refunds, and that the fee is waived if you choose store credit (issued as a gift card). Original shipping you paid is not refunded. Final sale items, earrings, cosmetics, undergarments and swimwear without its hygiene seal cannot be returned.
Worked example: return a $40 skirt for a refund and you get $33.05 back. Take store credit instead and you get the full $40 on a Princess Polly gift card, and you keep the rewards points from the purchase. That gap is worth knowing before you order several sizes to try on.
Afterpay and other payment options
Princess Polly accepts Afterpay, Klarna and Shop Pay installments. Its help center describes Afterpay as four interest-free installments, the first at checkout and the rest every two weeks. Splitting a payment is not a discount: the $6.95 return fee still applies, and if you return an Afterpay purchase for store credit, the money goes to a Princess Polly gift card while your Afterpay payments continue.
How to save at Princess Polly without a code
- Join Rewards before your first order. It is free and unlocks the 15% first-order reward. Use it within 30 days.
- Pick one percentage-off offer per order. Princess Polly’s terms say offers cannot be combined with other offers, so compare the sign-up code, the rewards tier discount and the student code and use the biggest.
- Shop the sale sections for markdowns, but remember final sale means no returns.
- Build carts over $50 to skip the standard shipping charge.
- Consider store credit for returns if you shop there regularly, since it avoids the $6.95 fee.
What we could not verify
- The BOGO50 code. A banner reading “BOGO 50% off, use code BOGO50” appeared on Princess Polly’s Friend Landing Page but not on its homepage or Promo Codes page, and we found no terms or end date for it.
- Student discount on sale items. Princess Polly’s pages variously say an extra 5%, an extra 10%, or no student discount on sale items.
- Return fee. The Returns & Exchanges page lists $6.95; the help center’s return policy article does not mention a domestic fee.
- Shipping rates under $50. Two conflicting tables ($6.99 vs $9.99 standard), and one collection page’s description mentions free shipping over $60 rather than $50.
- Sign-up code terms. No minimum spend, expiry or exclusions were listed on the SMS page.
- Rewards details. The points-to-dollar value, which tier gets each perk, and whether tier discounts are one-time or repeat were not stated.
