Ariat Discount Code: The 10% Sign-Up Code, Military and First Responder Discounts, and Insider Rewards

Merchant: Ariat · What this page covers: the email and text sign-up code, the military and first responder discounts (verified through SheerID), the free Ariat Insider rewards program, shipping and returns, the sale section and Ariat stores · Sources: Ariat’s own pages, listed under Where these offers come from.

Ariat says it has exactly one public promo code: 10% off your first order when you sign up for Ariat emails (and texts). Its own coupon page puts it bluntly: “You won’t find any other valid Ariat.com coupon codes.” Beyond that code, the real savings come from the free Ariat Insider program (free shipping, free returns and points worth about 5% back), the 10% military and first responder discounts verified through SheerID, and the sale section.

We list no other code here. If another site shows you a long list of “Ariat discount codes,” Ariat itself says those codes are not valid.

The one Ariat discount code: email and text sign-up

Ariat’s promo codes page describes a single code: 10% off when you sign up for Ariat emails. The promotions page phrases it as “Sign up for email and text messages to get 10% off your first order!” and marks it “New subscribers only.”

The terms are short, and they matter:

  • “Excludes clearance products.” Marked-down clearance items do not qualify.
  • “US orders only.”
  • Not combinable. The FAQ says the code “cannot be combined with other offers,” and the promotions page adds “You can use only one promo code per order.”
  • Where to enter it: on the My Bag page, below the order summary, before checkout.

Example (our math): On a $200 pair of full-price boots, the 10% sign-up code takes off $20, so you pay $180 before tax. Because it is a first-order code, it is worth saving for your largest full-price purchase rather than spending on a $30 accessory, where it saves only $3.

Ariat military discount (and how SheerID verification works)

Ariat offers a “10% discount on any Ariat.com order for you and your family” to U.S. military members. The page says the discount “applies to active duty, reserve, veteran, and retired members” of any U.S. branch “with proper credentials.” It is valid 1/1/2026 through 12/31/2026, for U.S. orders only.

Ariat uses SheerID for verification, not ID.me. The process runs through your Insider account:

  • Join or sign in to Ariat Insider (free).
  • On your Insider Account page, select “Military Discount 10% Get Verified.”
  • Complete the SheerID check. Use your name exactly as it appears on your credential; if your last name has changed, you may need to upload a government-issued document showing your current name.
  • Once approved, the discount applies automatically, but only while you are logged in.

The page says verification “may take a few hours,” while its FAQ says you will get an email “in less than 20 minutes” if you are not verified instantly. Plan a little lead time either way.

Key limits: the discount “Cannot be combined with any other offer, coupon code, or sale items,” cannot be used on gift cards, has “No cash value,” and does not adjust past purchases. The page says Ariat will also honor it at Ariat brand shops and outlets. Ariat also ships to APO and FPO addresses.

Example (our math): On a $250 full-price jacket, the military discount saves $25, bringing it to $225 before tax. On a sale item, it saves nothing, because sale items are excluded. Compare other retailers in our military discounts master list.

Ariat first responder discount

The first responder program mirrors the military one: 10% off any Ariat.com order “for you and your family,” valid 1/1/2026 through 12/31/2026, U.S. orders only, verified through SheerID. It covers “currently employed first responders,” and the page gives police officers, paramedics, EMTs and firefighters as examples.

Redemption works the same way: log in to Ariat Insider, choose “First Responder 10% Get Verified,” and finish the SheerID check. The same exclusions apply: no combining with other offers, coupon codes or sale items, no gift cards, “Exclusions apply.” The FAQ says the discount is honored in Ariat brand stores.

Teachers, nurses, medical workers and students

We found no Ariat discount for teachers, nurses, medical staff or students. Ariat sells healthcare work shoes and scrubs, but the first responder page does not list medical staff or nurses, and the help center does not mention teacher or student pricing. If you are in one of those groups, the email sign-up code and Insider program are the published options.

Ariat Insider: free shipping, free returns and points

Ariat Insider is described in the FAQ as “a free rewards program.” It is open to U.S. residents 18 and older with an ariat.com account; Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, international (Global-E) customers and ExpertVoice members are excluded. There are no tiers.

  • Sign-up bonus: 100 points for joining.
  • Earning: 1 point per $1 on eligible purchases at ariat.com and participating Ariat brand stores, capped at 5,000 points per calendar year. Sale and clearance items, gift cards and purchases paid with rewards earn no points.
  • Value: “200 Points are worth $10 in Rewards,” redeemable in $10 steps, up to $100 (2,000 points) per transaction. You need at least one full-price item in your cart, and the Insider page says points cannot be redeemed on sale or clearance items or in Ariat retail stores.
  • Birthday: 100 points ($5) per year if you enroll before your birthday month; they expire 31 days after they arrive.
  • Bonus points: 50 for completing your profile, 50 for an SMS subscription, 25 per written review (up to 4 a year), 25 per social platform you follow, and 200 once a year after four purchases over $150 each in a calendar year.
  • Expiry: points expire 12 months after they are earned, and purchase points stay pending for 15 days.

Example (our math): 200 points for $10 is a 5% return on full-price spending. Buy $200 of full-price boots and you earn 200 points, a $10 reward. Add the 100 sign-up points, 50 for completing your profile and 50 for texts, and you have another 200 points, or a second $10 reward, before your second order. Over a year, four $160 purchases would earn 640 purchase points plus the 200-point fourth-purchase bonus: 840 points, which is four $10 rewards with 40 points left over.

Shipping and returns

The shipping page lists continental U.S. ground shipping at $6, Express (3–5 business days) at $18 and 2 Day at $25. Insiders get “Always free ground shipping and free returns.” Alaska, Hawaii, PO Box, APO and FPO orders ship by USPS Priority or UPS SurePost at $6, free for Insiders. Orders take 2–4 business days to process, and you can cancel within 30 minutes of checkout.

Returns: domestic purchases can be returned within 90 days, unworn with tags and original packaging, using a prepaid label. Final sale items cannot be returned, and original shipping charges are not refunded. Ariat does not process direct exchanges; you return the item and place a new order. Items bought from other retailers follow that retailer’s policy.

Example (our math): Joining Insider saves the $6 ground charge on every order. Over three orders that is $18, which is more than the 10% sign-up code saves on any order under $180.

Ariat sale section, outlets and stores

Ariat’s sale page groups markdowns by men’s and women’s footwear and clothing, kids, workwear and boots, and accessories, with the original price struck through beside the sale price. The items we saw ranged from about 20% to about 60% off; for example, a vest listed at $89.95 was marked down to $35.99. Markdowns change constantly, so check prices yourself. There is also a dedicated workwear sale page.

Ariat’s store locator labels locations as Ariat Outlet, Ariat Store or Ariat Work Store, but does not publish outlet pricing. The military page says its discount is honored at brand shops and outlets.

The “$15 Off Select Hoodies” promotion on the promotions page ended 10/30, so we list it as expired.

How to save at Ariat without a promo code

  • Join Ariat Insider before you buy. It is free, removes the $6 ground shipping charge, and earns 1 point per $1 on full-price items.
  • Get SheerID-verified if you qualify. Military and first responder members get 10% off full-price orders through 12/31/2026.
  • Shop the sale section for markdowns, but remember that sale items do not earn points and are excluded from the military and first responder discounts.
  • Pick your best stack. On full-price items, choose the larger of the 10% code or the 10% service discount (they do not combine), and still earn Insider points.
  • Collect the easy Insider bonuses (profile, texts, reviews) to reach your first $10 reward faster.

What we could not verify

  • Whether non-members pay for ground shipping. The shipping page lists $6 ground and free shipping for Insiders, while the help center says “Ariat offers free ground shipping on all domestic orders.”
  • Whether non-members get free return shipping. The returns page mentions a prepaid label but does not say if it is free without Insider membership.
  • Refund timing: the returns page says about 14 business days; the help center says 5–7 business days from receipt at the warehouse.
  • Whether the first responder discount is honored at Ariat outlets; its page mentions brand stores only, while the military page names both.
  • Exactly which products the “Exclusions apply” lines on the military and first responder pages cover.
  • Whether the email sign-up code can be used on sale items that are not marked clearance; the terms only exclude clearance.
  • Any teacher, nurse, medical or student discount. We found none published on ariat.com.
  • The sale and promotions pages showed a “Connection lost” notice when we read them, so their listings may have been incomplete.

FAQ

Is there an Ariat discount code?

Yes, one. New email and text subscribers get a 10% off first-order code. It excludes clearance, is for U.S. orders only and cannot be combined with other offers. Ariat says no other coupon codes are valid.

Does Ariat have a military discount?

Yes. Active duty, reserve, veteran and retired U.S. military members get 10% off Ariat.com orders, valid through 12/31/2026, after SheerID verification in their Ariat Insider account. It does not apply to sale items or gift cards.

Does Ariat use ID.me?

No. Both the military and first responder pages name SheerID as the verification partner.

Is Ariat Insider free?

Yes. It is a free rewards program with free shipping and returns, 100 points for joining and 1 point per $1 on eligible purchases. 200 points equal a $10 reward.

Can I combine the Ariat military discount with the 10% email code?

No. The military discount “Cannot be combined with any other offer, coupon code, or sale items,” and Ariat allows one promo code per order.

Where these offers come from

Every number on this page comes from Ariat’s own site: the promo codes and coupons page, the promotions page, the military discount page, the first responder discount page, the Ariat Insider page, the Insider program terms, the shipping page, the returns page, the help center, the sale page and the store locator. We did not use other coupon sites as evidence, and no checkout tests were done. Read how we verify deals and our editorial policy. Spot an outdated offer? Tell us.

Before you take the cheese, check the trap: an “Ariat code” from anywhere but Ariat’s own sign-up is probably bait.
