Merchant: lululemon (shop.lululemon.com, U.S. site) · Covers: the Military & First Responder discount for service members, veterans, military families, first responders, nurses and doctors, whether a public promo code exists, the We Made Too Much markdown section, the Like New trade-in and resale program, free membership perks, shipping and returns · Sources: lululemon’s own pages, listed at the end.
The lululemon military discount is 15% off, and the same program covers first responders, licensed nurses and medical doctors. You verify once through SheerID, a third-party verification service, and the discount then works online, in the iOS app and in lululemon stores. lululemon does not publish a public promo code anyone can type in. Its emailed offers arrive as links that apply a discount automatically. Beyond the 15%, lululemon’s own savings come from the We Made Too Much markdown section (we saw Align High-Rise Pants marked from $98 to $69), the Like New program, which pays $5 or $10 e-gift cards for gently worn gear traded in at U.S. stores, and free membership, which adds receipt-free returns and exchange or credit on sale items.

The lululemon military discount: who qualifies and how it works
lululemon runs one program for military and first responders. Its program page calls the 15% an “always-on offer” once you’re verified. The groups it names:
- Military: active duty, reservists, veterans and retired personnel. Spouses and dependents of active personnel living in the same household also qualify, but each person has to verify separately.
- First responders: firefighters, law enforcement, search and rescue, and EMTs.
- Healthcare: medical doctors and licensed nurses. lululemon files these under the first responder side of the program, which is where the “lululemon nurse discount” lives. There isn’t a separate healthcare program.
Members must be 18 or older; lululemon employees are excluded.
How SheerID verification works
Sign in to your lululemon account, select “Get Verified” on the program page and enter your details. lululemon’s terms say verification can take up to about 20 minutes; if SheerID can’t confirm you automatically, it asks for documents, so enter your name exactly as it appears on them. You can use the discount as soon as SheerID’s confirmation email arrives. lululemon’s FAQs say verification is good for four years, after which you verify again. Questions about failed verification go to SheerID, not lululemon.
Nike’s military offers also use SheerID; Under Armour’s 20% discount uses ID.me.
Lululemon military discount online vs in store
- Online and in the app: Sign in with the account you verified, and make sure the 15% off toggle is on at checkout. The discount then applies automatically. lululemon says the iOS app works the same way.
- In store: Verify online first, then ask an educator (lululemon’s name for store staff) to apply the discount at checkout, and bring a valid ID.
- Payment: The FAQs list cards, Apple Pay, gift cards, Klarna, Afterpay and PayPal.
Limits, exclusions and stacking
lululemon’s FAQs say there is no limit on how many times you use the discount, though its terms let lululemon set spending limits or restrict transactions without notice. The discount covers regular-price, We Made Too Much and lululemon lab gear for yourself only. Switch the toggle off when buying for others.
The discount doesn’t apply to:
- the Like New resale site
- gift cards and e-gift cards
- phone orders, co-branded products and third-party sellers (per the terms)
- past purchases, packaging, shipping or taxes
- gifts or items for resale
It can’t be combined with other offers, promo codes, discounts or coupons. lululemon can change or end the program at any time. Compare the 15% with other programs in our military discounts master list and nurse discounts master list.
Is there a public lululemon promo code?
We found none on lululemon’s pages. Its discount troubleshooting page says emailed discounts are applied by clicking the link in the email while signed in, and that it is “not a promo code you enter manually.” Each email sets its own terms and exclusions. The Like New FAQ also names birthday and Sweat Collective discounts, but we found no published terms for either. Any code you see promoted for lululemon outside lululemon’s own emails should be treated as unverified.
We Made Too Much: the markdown section
We Made Too Much is lululemon’s markdown section. There’s no code, and prices are already lowered. Prices we saw:
| Item | Regular price | Markdown price | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| lululemon Align High-Rise Pant 25″ | $98 | $69 | 30% |
| Flow Y Dress Light Support, B/C Cup | $148 | $99 | 33% |
| Daydrift High-Rise Wide-Leg Trouser Regular | $148 | $99 | 33% |
| Women’s Steady State SuperLoft Funnel-Neck Half Zip | $108 | $74 | 31% |
| Scuba Backpack 32L | $128 | $89 | 30% |
| Swiftly Tech Long-Sleeve Shirt 2.0 Waist Length | $78 | $54 | 31% |
| Groove High-Rise Mini Skirt | $78 | $49 | 37% |
| Everywhere Backpack 22L | $78 | $64 | 18% |
| Insulated Tumbler 40oz | $58 | $49 | 16% |
Prices and sizes change often, so treat this as a snapshot.
The catch is returns. lululemon’s return policy lists We Made Too Much items as final sale. Members get an exception: the return policy says members can return sale items for a lululemon gift card, and the membership help page says exchange or credit on sale items is handled in store only.
Like New: trade in, resell, and buy secondhand
Like New is lululemon’s own resale program, run on a separate site (likenew.lululemon.com) for the U.S. and Canada.
Trading in
Bring clean, gently worn lululemon clothing or bags to a participating U.S. store (not outlets). Accepted items earn a non-expiring e-gift card by email.
- $5: shorts, skirts, and men’s short- and long-sleeve shirts
- $10: hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, pants, crops, leggings, dresses, Define jackets and bags larger than 10L
Items must be washed and free of damage, pilling or discoloration. Not accepted: footwear, tank tops, women’s shirts, outerwear, accessories, yoga props, intimates, collaborations, swimwear, small bags and ivivva.
Buying Like New
Like New shipping is $7.50 flat, free at $125 or more. Returns start within 14 days of delivery, minus a $7.50 fee. The Military & First Responder, Sweat Collective, Ambassador and birthday discounts don’t work on Like New.
Membership, shipping and returns
lululemon Membership is free with a lululemon account. Tiers are based on annual spending: Collective (up to $500), Plus (up to $1,000) and Pinnacle ($1,000 and up). Listed perks include early access to drops, free hemming, exchange or credit on sale items, receipt-free returns, member events and partner perks. We found no points rate or member-only prices.
- Shipping: Standard shipping (2–6 business days) is free with no minimum listed. Express (2–4 business days) costs $20 and Priority (2–3 business days) costs $30. Orders ship within 1–2 business days.
- Returns: 30 days for unworn, unwashed, tagged items with proof of purchase, by mail or in store (not outlets). Exchanges happen in store. Gift cards, customized products and We Made Too Much items are final sale.
- Holiday window: purchases made October 13 to December 24 can be returned or exchanged until January 23.
The honest math
- 15% on a full-price Align pant. $98 × 15% = $14.70 off, so $83.30 before tax.
- We Made Too Much alone. The same Align pant at $69 saves $29 with no verification. That’s about twice the 15% discount, though the markdown pant is final sale for non-members.
- 15% on a markdown. lululemon’s FAQs say the discount covers We Made Too Much gear: $69 × 0.85 = $58.65, or $39.35 under the $98 regular price. One of lululemon’s program pages tells shoppers to check their cart for markdown items when the discount won’t apply, so check the order summary before paying.
- Trade-in value. Two pairs of leggings ($10 each) and shorts ($5) earn a $25 e-gift card, about a third of a $69 markdown pant.
How to save at lululemon without a coupon
- If you’re eligible, verify once with SheerID; the 15% then works online and in store.
- Check We Made Too Much before paying full price.
- Join the free membership before buying markdowns. Members can get a gift card or store credit back on sale items that would otherwise be final sale.
- Trade in leggings, pants, hoodies and larger bags at a U.S. store for $10 each in e-gift cards.
- Compare against other activewear brands and stores: our guides to Alo Yoga coupons and loyalty, Nordstrom’s Nordy Club and price adjustments and DICK’S Sporting Goods ScoreCard explain how those programs work.
What we could not verify
- Merchant-side conflict on region: lululemon’s U.S. help article for the program says the 15% is for “Military members and First Responders in Canada,” while the program page says the program is for members in the U.S. and the U.S. FAQs describe U.S. use. We relied on the program page and FAQs.
- Merchant-side conflict on retirees: the program page lists retired personnel, but the military FAQ names active, reserve and veteran members plus spouses and dependents, and doesn’t mention retirees.
- Merchant-side conflict on gift cards: the program FAQs list gift cards as an accepted payment with the discount, but the Like New FAQ says community discount holders (including Military & First Responder) can’t combine trade-in e-gift cards with their discount.
- Whether the 15% reliably applies to We Made Too Much items at checkout. The FAQs say yes, but a help article suggests removing markdown items when it doesn’t apply.
- Which spending limits, if any, lululemon applies to the program, and which “certain products or categories” are excluded.
- Terms for the birthday and Sweat Collective discounts, and the value or frequency of emailed member offers.
- Which membership benefits belong to each tier.
- Like New resale prices. The resale site’s listings didn’t load for us.
- Any price adjustment policy; we found none on lululemon’s U.S. pages.

Where this information comes from
Everything above comes from lululemon’s own pages: the Military & First Responder program page, military FAQ, first responders FAQ, program terms and conditions, military and first responders help article, discount troubleshooting page, We Made Too Much section, Like New FAQ, Like New help article, Membership page, membership help article, shipping and delivery page and return policy. We did not run a checkout test or verify through SheerID ourselves, we invented no codes, and nothing here comes from coupon sites. Read how we verify deals and our editorial policy.
