FIGS Discount Code: No Public Code — How the Student, Military, Referral and Scrub Recycling Offers Work

Merchant: FIGS · What this page covers: whether a public FIGS discount code exists, the student and military discount, Refer a Friend, the scrub recycling code, The Set, sales, TEAMS, gift cards, shipping and returns · Sources: FIGS’s own pages, listed under Offer provenance.

If you are looking for a FIGS discount code, the honest answer is that FIGS publishes no public one, and its terms say codes should not be public. FIGS’s Terms of Use say only codes sent through FIGS’s own channels are valid, each may be used once per person, and codes may not be “made available to the general public.” What FIGS does offer: 15% off for U.S. students and military through ID.me, a 20%-off referral code, a $25-off code for recycling old scrubs at a FIGS store, a birthday coupon and sale sections. Only one discount applies per order.

A site listing a string of “FIGS promo codes” with no link to wearfigs.com deserves suspicion; our guide on spotting fake coupon sites explains why.

Why FIGS has no public discount code

Section 4(c) of FIGS’s Terms of Use says promo codes cannot be bought, may not be shared or sold, and can be disabled at any time. Section 6 says FIGS runs promotions “from time to time” and posts their terms on its site. So the codes that work are personal: referral, recycling and birthday codes, plus the student and military discount tied to your ID.me identity. Sitewide events, like the August Back to School sale, applied automatically with no code.

FIGS’s help center adds that only one discount applies per order, including student, military and sale-period discounts, and that items already marked down generally cannot take another discount.

How the FIGS student and military discount works

  • Students: for students at U.S. colleges, universities, community colleges and technical colleges. International students get a code through Student Beans.
  • Military: U.S. service members, USAA members, and active, veteran and retired personnel, with a cutoff on when service began (see the Military page). Spouses are not mentioned.
  • How to apply: at checkout, choose the Students and Military option, pick Student or Military and sign in to ID.me. Use the same email for the order that you used with ID.me.
  • When it disappears: if the ID.me option is missing, the help center says a sitewide promotion may be running; the discount works again once it ends.

FIGS says there is no teacher or first-responder discount: “Only students and military personnel are eligible.” Compare other stores on our student discounts master list and military discounts master list.

Example (our math): a women’s Catarina One-Pocket Scrub Top is listed at $42.00 and a Zamora Jogger Scrub Pant at $52.00, for $94.00. The 15% discount saves $14.10, so the pair costs $79.90, still above the $50 free-shipping line. Men’s pricing matches: the Leon Scrub Top is $42.00 and the Tansen Jogger Scrub Pant is $52.00.

The pair offer and The Set

FIGS’s homepage offers 15% off when you “pick your perfect pair” of best-selling tops and pants; we found no terms or end date. The Set is FIGS’s starter bundle: a top plus a jogger, straight-leg or (for women) wide-leg pant. FIGS’s help center says new customers get 20% off The Set, but the Set pages we loaded show “15% OFF your first order” next to a $94.00 price. Codes cannot stack on The Set’s discounted price, and repeat customers pay full price.

Example (our math): The Set’s $94.00 price equals the two pieces bought separately ($42.00 + $52.00), so the bundle itself is not cheaper. The saving is the first-order discount: 15% is $14.10 (paying $79.90); 20% would be $18.80 (paying $75.20).

How FIGS Refer a Friend works

  • Share your personal link with a U.S. shopper who has no FIGS account or past orders. They create an account and receive their own code by email.
  • After their qualifying order, you get a code for 20% off a purchase of $100 or more, measured before discounts.
  • The friend’s order must exceed $100 after taxes, discounts and shipping, and must not be returned or cancelled within 30 days.
  • Your code expires 30 days after issue, needs a FIGS account, cannot be combined or used on gift cards. There is no limit on referrals, but the program is for U.S. individuals only, not TEAMS orders.

Example (our math): a Casma Three-Pocket Scrub Top ($42.00), a Catarina top ($42.00) and a Zamora pant ($52.00) total $136.00. The 20% referral code saves $27.20 (paying $108.80); the 15% student discount saves $20.40 (paying $115.60). On the two-piece $94.00 pair, the referral code does not work, because the order is under $100.

Scrubs That Don’t Suck: the $25 recycling code

FIGS takes laundered scrubs from any brand, in any condition, at its Community Hub stores in Los Angeles (Century City), Chicago (West Loop), New York (Upper East Side), Philadelphia (Rittenhouse Square) and Houston (Rice Village). You get one $25-off code per drop-off, not per item, limited to one drop-off a day. The code needs a $100+ order, must be used in one purchase, expires six months after issue and cannot be combined. It excludes FIGS | New Balance, FIGS | Eko, ATGT items, embroidery, gift cards and gift packaging.

Example (our math): on a $100.00 order, $25 off is a 25% saving, better than the 20% referral code. The referral code wins only above $125, where 20% equals $25. On the $136.00 cart above, recycling saves $25.00 and the referral code $27.20.

Birthday coupon, sales and Final Sale rules

FIGS’s help center mentions a “$15 birthday coupon” for account holders with a birthday on file. If you forgot to add it, FIGS will save it for the future, and sends a code if your birthday was within the last 30 days.

The ATGT collections hold last-chance colors and styles. In the women’s section, the Labelle Bomber Scrub Jacket was $68.90, down from $98.00 (about 30% off), and many items showed as sold out. FIGS also runs Sample Sale sections of standard products. Sale items take no further discount, and items marked Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

FIGS TEAMS, gift cards, shipping and returns

TEAMS: group pricing scales with an organization’s uniform program; the first order sets the starting tier, and individual-order discounts depend on the yearly commitment. No prices or minimums are published.

Gift cards: $25 to $250, no expiration or fees, excluded from discounts and not returnable.

Shipping: standard U.S. shipping is free at $50 or more and $5 below that; 2-Day Express is $8 and Next Day Priority $15. Embroidered orders can take up to 2 extra weeks.

Returns: unworn, unwashed items with tags can be returned within 30 days for a refund. U.S. shoppers can exchange (Core styles and colors, equal value, including discounted items) or take store credit up to 60 days. Embroidered and Final Sale items are not returnable, and shipping fees are not refunded. FIGS says it cannot guarantee price matching around its Nurse’s Week sale and suggests returning an eligible order and reordering at the sale price.

Example (our math): one $42.00 top ships for $5.00, a $47.00 total. Adding a $52.00 pant brings the order to $94.00 with free shipping, so the pant effectively adds $47.00.

How to save at FIGS without a coupon

  • Verify with ID.me if you are a U.S. student or in FIGS’s military group.
  • Use the one discount worth most: $25 recycling below $125, 20% referral above it, 15% otherwise.
  • Reach $50 to skip the $5 shipping charge.
  • Check ATGT for older colors, treating Final Sale as non-returnable.
  • Return and reorder within 30 days if a sale starts after you buy.

What we could not verify

  • Whether The Set’s first-order discount is 15% (Set pages) or 20% (help center).
  • Terms, end date and code requirement for the homepage pair offer, and for a “3 for 15% off” label on the Salta underscrub.
  • What “FirstFIGS” is; FIGS’s referral article names it only as a discount that cannot be combined.
  • The referred friend’s reward amount, and the birthday coupon’s minimum and expiration.
  • Whether the student and military discount is applied automatically or issued as a code; FIGS’s pages say both.
  • Dates for any upcoming Nurse’s Week or holiday sale.
  • Whether $50 free shipping covers non-continental U.S. addresses; the shipping table and footnote disagree.
