There is no master first responder coupon code. Every program on this list is published by the merchant itself, and you unlock it by proving your job through a verification service, usually ID.me or SheerID. We confirmed 22 programs on merchants’ own pages for police, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics, and in many cases 911 dispatchers. Most take 10% to 30% off. Two of the 22, at Lowe’s and SeaWorld Orlando, were dated offers whose registration windows have closed. The biggest catch is that “first responder” doesn’t mean the same thing everywhere: some merchants name dispatchers and retirees, and others don’t define the term at all.

How first responder verification works
Nearly every program hands the eligibility check to an outside service. ID.me covers most of this list: Adidas, YETI, Brooks, Under Armour, Puma, New Balance, Crocs, Hoka, Boot Barn, Skechers, On, Verizon, Samsung, HP, Lowe’s and SeaWorld. SheerID handles Nike, Lululemon, Timberland and Dell. Carhartt only says a valid ID is required, and T-Mobile for Business takes documents directly, such as an employee ID, a pay stub less than 60 days old, EMS/EMT certification or a sworn statement from your agency.
One ID.me account works at every ID.me merchant, so set it up once with a personal email. Expect to upload a badge, agency ID, pay stub or certification.
Who counts? Merchants that spell it out are generous. Adidas, New Balance, Skechers and YETI name police, firefighters, EMTs and 911 dispatchers. Adidas, New Balance and Skechers also include retirees. Verizon includes volunteers, retirees and immediate family of responders who died in the line of duty. Lowe’s names 9-1-1 dispatchers and retirees. Timberland and Dell include search and rescue. Lululemon lists firefighters, law enforcement, search and rescue and EMTs but not dispatchers. Under Armour, Puma, Brooks, Crocs, Hoka, Boot Barn, Carhartt and On don’t define the term, so ID.me’s eligibility list decides.
Apparel and workwear
| Merchant | Who qualifies | Discount (as published) | How to verify | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adidas | Active or retired police, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers “and more” | 30% off; 2 online uses a month, 1 in-store and 1 factory-outlet use a month | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Adidas |
| Under Armour | First responders, police and fire (no fuller list) | 20% off, online sitewide and in UA Brand House stores | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Under Armour |
| Puma | First responders (not defined) | 20% off, PUMA.com only | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Puma |
| Lululemon | Firefighters, law enforcement, search and rescue, EMTs | 15% off, online and in store, no stated use limit | SheerID | merchant-listed · last seen active | Lululemon |
| Carhartt | First responders (not defined) | 15% off apparel and accessories | Valid ID | merchant-listed · last seen active | Carhartt |
| Nike | EMTs, firefighters, law enforcement and others; must be a Nike Member | 10% off most items, on the first $500 | SheerID | merchant-listed · last seen active | Nike |
Adidas pays the most in this group, but its exclusion list is long. Select Samba, Gazelle, Spezial, Superstar, Stan Smith, Ultraboost, adizero and NMD styles are out, along with Y-3, several collaborations, final-sale items and gift cards. Check your item before you count on the 30%.
Under Armour’s 20% runs online sitewide and in UA Brand House stores, which makes it one of the few that works in person. Our Under Armour 20% discount guide covers how it sits alongside the military and teacher programs.
Lululemon is the low-effort option: verify once, and the 15% works online and in stores for four years. It won’t combine with other promotions and excludes Like New items and gift cards.
Nike’s math is simple: 10% of a $500 cap means the most you can save on one order is $50. Each code is single-use, expires two weeks after it’s issued, and you can request a new one every seven days. It isn’t valid in Nike stores and combines only with free-shipping codes.
Boots and shoes

| Timberland | Sworn and civilian police staff at listed agencies, select federal agencies, career or volunteer firefighters, search and rescue, licensed EMTs and paramedics | 20% off; one code every 30 days; Timberland.com only | SheerID | merchant-listed · last seen active | Timberland |
| New Balance | Active or retired police, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers | 15% off full-price items online; one code per 30 days | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | New Balance |
| Crocs | First responders (not defined) | 15% off select styles | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Crocs |

| Skechers | Active and retired police, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers | Extra 10% off, stacks with most promotions; skechers.com only | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Skechers |
| On | First responders (not defined) | Amount not published; orders up to $575 before discount; 2 codes a month | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | On |
Timberland is the strongest boot-specific program here, at 20%, but it excludes select Timberland PRO workwear, footwear and accessories. That’s the line many responders shop for, so check before you verify.
Boot Barn’s 10% applies only to full-priced styles and can’t be combined with other offers, so a Boot Barn sale may beat it. Our Boot Barn guide explains how B Rewarded points fit around it.
Skechers is the only shoe program that stacks with sales. Say a $70 pair is in a 25%-off promotion: $70 drops to $52.50, and the extra 10% takes it to $47.25. It won’t combine with other stackable offers and excludes select accessories, test styles and gift cards. Our guide to stacking coupons, cashback and rewards shows the order that works.
Brooks caps you at three codes a year and excludes sale items, select lifestyle collections and runDisney products.
Outdoors and home improvement

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| YETI | Active police, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers and others on ID.me’s list | 30% off eligible items, “for a limited time”; $10,000 yearly cap | ID.me, each visit | merchant-listed · last seen active | YETI |
| Lowe’s | Active or retired firefighters, EMTs/paramedics, police, 9-1-1 dispatchers | $10 MyLowe’s Money plus Silver status (free standard shipping, faster points) | ID.me | expired | Lowe’s |
YETI’s 30% is labeled limited-time, with no end date. It excludes new releases, seasonal colors, limited editions and customization fees. You re-verify on each visit to see discounted prices.
Lowe’s doesn’t offer a percentage off. Its program is a $10 MyLowe’s Money credit plus a year of Silver status, with verification open from 10/1/26 to 10/31/26 and the $10 claimable through 11/7/26. That verification window has closed. Lowe’s newsroom shows similar first responder offers in earlier years, but no next window has been announced. Lowe’s military discount is a separate, year-round program; see our Lowe’s guide.
Phones and electronics
| Merchant | Who qualifies | Discount (as published) | How to verify | Status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Verizon | Active and retired firefighters, police and EMS, including volunteers; immediate family of the fallen | 10% off mobile plan; 25% off accessories online; Fios eligible | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Verizon |
| T-Mobile for Business | Small-business owners who are active police, fire or EMS, retired pensioners, or family of the fallen | $70 for 1 line down to $30 a line at 6 lines, with AutoPay | Documents within 45 days | merchant-listed · last seen active | T-Mobile |
| Samsung | Police officers, paramedics “and more” | Up to 30% off, varies by product; 2 per product category | Samsung Account + ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | Samsung |
| HP | US first responders with a qualifying ID.me affiliation | Up to 40% off; yearly caps by product type | ID.me | merchant-listed · last seen active | HP |
| Dell | Police, career or volunteer firefighters, EMTs, search and rescue | Up to 10% extra; 2 products per order, 2 orders a year | SheerID via Dell Rewards | merchant-listed · last seen active | Dell |
Verizon’s discount won’t show in your cart. It appears on your bill within one to two billing cycles, and you can’t hold it alongside Verizon’s teacher, nurse, student or military discounts. Our Verizon discounts guide compares those programs.
T-Mobile’s published first responder pricing is on its business site, so it only applies if you run a small business and are the primary account holder. The math: four lines at $35 each is $140 a month, and skipping AutoPay adds $5 a line. If you don’t verify within 45 days, the plan converts to standard pricing, which can cost up to $20 more per line.
“Up to” matters with electronics. HP caps purchases each calendar year at 2 PCs, 2 tablets, 2 printers, 10 accessories and 12 supplies, and excludes ink and toner. Samsung’s percentage varies by product line, and its own page gives the limit period as both “any 12-month period” and the calendar year.
Theme parks and entertainment
SeaWorld Orlando offered verified first responders one free ticket to SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, with no Florida residency requirement. Registration had to be done online by 10/31/26 and the visit completed by 12/31/26, so the registration window has closed. Claimed tickets are good only on the date selected, with the responder present.
The other parks we checked had nothing current to list. SeaWorld San Antonio’s free admission for a responder and up to three family members ran through 9/1/26 and has ended. SeaWorld San Diego’s complimentary ticket had to be used by 3/31/25. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord lists a first responder one-day discount as “Coming Soon” with no price.
How to save without a coupon
- Verify before you need it. Document review can add time, and some programs, such as YETI, ask you to sign in again each visit.
- Read the cap, not just the percentage. Nike stops at $500, On at $575 before discount, Brooks at three codes a year and YETI at $10,000 a year.
- Compare against the public sale. Boot Barn, Lululemon, Timberland, New Balance and Nike won’t combine with promotions, so a sitewide sale can beat your discount. Skechers is the exception. Our Black Friday deals guide covers when those sales start.
- Use the right group. If you are also a veteran, nurse or teacher, another program may pay more. See our military, nurse, teacher and senior discounts master lists.
- Skip posted “first responder codes.” These codes are issued per person, so public lists are usually dead. Here’s how to spot a coupon site making things up.
What we could not verify
- Academy Sports + Outdoors: its military and first responder page says the 10% discount is “not currently running” and calls it seasonal, with no schedule. See our Academy guide for what works there now.
- Home Depot: its discount page covers military members and veterans only and doesn’t mention first responders. Our Home Depot guide covers that program.
- Ford: Ford’s support page confirms a Military and First Responders Appreciation discount on eligible new vehicles but doesn’t state an amount, eligible models or dates.
- On: confirms first responders qualify but doesn’t publish a percentage.
- Hoka: says “15% or more” without defining first responders or listing limits.
- Oakley: its discounts page links out to a separate military and first responder site that we didn’t review.
- AT&T, Peacock and restaurant chains: not reviewed for this list, so none are included.
- Under Armour, Puma, Crocs, Carhartt and Boot Barn don’t list caps or full exclusions on the pages we used. Boot Barn’s FAQ answers on store use were blank.
FAQ
Which first responder discount has the highest published percentage?
Adidas and YETI, at 30% each. YETI’s is labeled limited-time. HP (“up to 40%”) and Samsung (“up to 30%”) vary by product.
Do 911 dispatchers qualify for first responder discounts?
At several merchants, yes. Adidas, New Balance, Skechers, YETI and Lowe’s name 911 dispatchers. Lululemon’s list leaves them out. Where a merchant doesn’t define the term, ID.me’s eligibility rules decide.
Can retired first responders use these discounts?
Some programs say so: Adidas, New Balance, Skechers, Verizon and Lowe’s. YETI requires active status, and T-Mobile accepts retired pensioners.
Which first responder discounts work in stores?
Lululemon, Under Armour’s UA Brand House stores, and Adidas (one in-store and one outlet use a month). Nike, Timberland, Brooks, New Balance, Skechers and On are online only.
Where this information comes from
Every program comes from the merchant’s own page, each linked in the tables above, plus the SeaWorld San Antonio and San Diego offer pages, the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord page, Academy’s military and first responders page, Home Depot’s military page and Ford’s support page. No coupon sites or roundups were used as evidence, and no checkout tests were done. We follow our verification process and editorial policy. Spot something that changed? Tell us.
Some merchant pages contradict themselves. Skechers’ page description mentions 20% while the first responder terms say 10%. Samsung gives two different limit periods. SeaWorld’s San Antonio and San Diego pages say ID.me checks “military status” on a first responder offer. We report what each page states.
