Merchant: HOKA (hoka.com, U.S. site) · Covers: ID.me discounts for healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, students and military, the membership sign-up offer, spend-and-save promotions, the sale and members-only sections, shipping, returns, the 30-day guarantee and the membership tiers · Sources: HOKA’s own pages, listed at the end.
HOKA does not publish a public promo code that anyone can type in. The savings HOKA itself lists come from four places: an ID.me-verified discount for medical professionals, first responders, teachers, students and military personnel that HOKA describes as “15% or more”; 10% off your next purchase for joining HOKA’s free membership and email list; an automatic “spend $200+, save $30” promotion that HOKA was running when we checked; and marked-down shoes in the sale section, where we saw running shoes at 20% to 30% off. Membership also unlocks free ground shipping and a 60-day return window, which is often worth more than a one-time code.

The HOKA discount programs: who qualifies and how ID.me fits in
HOKA’s U.S. discount programs page names five groups: eligible medical professionals, first responders, teachers, students and military personnel. HOKA says they “can save 15% or more” after confirming their status with ID.me at checkout. There is no separate code; the verification step does the job of one.
ID.me is a third-party identity service, so HOKA doesn’t run the eligibility check itself. Questions about which documents count for your group go to ID.me. If you already verified with ID.me for another retailer, the same login may carry over. Nike’s military and student offers use a similar verify-then-save setup. Compare other brands in our military, student and teacher discount lists.
What “15% or more” means
HOKA does not publish a fixed rate per group, and it does not say which group gets more than 15% or when. Treat 15% as the floor HOKA advertises, and read the order summary before you pay to see what was actually applied.
What HOKA does not say about this program
The page lists no exclusions, usage limits or combining rules, and it doesn’t name veterans or military families separately. See “What we could not verify” below.
HOKA also runs a “Nursing & Medical Work” shoe category. That is a product collection, not a discount. Nurses get the ID.me pricing the same way as anyone else in the healthcare group. Our nurse and healthcare worker discounts list compares how other brands handle the same audience, and our FIGS discount explainer covers a scrubs brand with its own healthcare offers.
HOKA Membership: the 10% offer, shipping, returns and tiers
HOKA Membership is free and open to U.S. residents aged 13 and up with a valid email address, one account per person.
10% off for joining
HOKA’s membership and members-only pages advertise 10% off your next purchase for joining. The sign-up panel says you must be 13 or older, accept HOKA’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and join the email list. HOKA’s pages do not say whether the 10% arrives as a unique code by email or is applied to your account, whether it excludes any styles, or how long it stays valid.
Free shipping and longer returns
- Shipping. HOKA’s shipping page says standard shipping is free in the U.S. “for HOKA Members only.” No order minimum is listed for members. Paid options include two-day and next-day service; the U.S. cost table did not load fully, so check the price at checkout.
- Returns. HOKA’s 30-day guarantee lets you return shoes or apparel for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Members get 60 days. Return and exchange shipping is free for orders placed on the website or through the call center.
Tiers and challenges
The membership terms describe three tiers based on what you spend at HOKA.com and HOKA-owned U.S. stores during the calendar year: Run ($0 to $249), Sprint ($250 to $499) and Fly ($500 and up). Before your tier can rise, you have to complete what HOKA calls the Squad Certified Challenge. Members can also complete one-time, annual and limited-time challenges that unlock rewards.
Purchases from other stores that sell HOKA don’t count toward your tier, and neither do gift cards, event tickets, taxes or shipping. Returns are subtracted from your qualifying spend.
The terms do not publish a points rate or the dollar value of any reward. HOKA says reward details appear inside the member account, and that it can change tier benefits without notice.
Spend $200, save $30, and how HOKA’s promotions usually run
When we checked, HOKA’s sale and members-only pages showed “Spend $200+, save $30.” HOKA’s welcome text said the $30 is applied automatically at checkout once your bag reaches $200. The page called it limited-time and gave no end date.
HOKA’s membership terms show how these promotions are usually written. An earlier members-only event, “Spend $150+, get $20 off,” ran from 9/3/2026 to 9/7/2026 for signed-in members online or in store. It excluded the Clifton 11, Clifton PRO, Clifton UTL and other select footwear, and it said it could not be combined with any other coupon, discount, promotion or offer. That event has ended. The current $30 promotion may have similar exclusions, but HOKA did not post its terms where we could read them.
What HOKA says about codes at checkout
HOKA’s checkout help page says you can apply more than one coupon code or gift certificate, one at a time. It also warns that entering a coupon code “may void existing promotions that have already been applied.” If your bag already shows the automatic $30, enter any other code and compare the total before and after. Remove the code if the total goes up.
The HOKA sale section and Members Only sale
HOKA’s sale page listed 225 discounted items when we checked, covering running, walking and trail shoes plus apparel and accessories. Prices we saw:
| Item | Regular price | Sale price | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clifton 10 (women’s and men’s) | $155 | $124 | 20% |
| Skyflow (women’s and men’s) | $160 | $112 | 30% |
| Bondi 9 (women’s and men’s) | $175 | $140 | 20% |
| Speedgoat 2 (all gender) | $160 | $128 | 20% |
| Women’s Gaviota 6 | $180 | $144 | 20% |
| ColdSnap Fleece Gloves | $48 | $33 | 31% |
Prices and sizes change often, so treat these as a snapshot. The useful pattern: the newest model (the Clifton 11 when we checked) sold at full price while the previous one (the Clifton 10) was marked down.
The separate Members Only page shows “exclusive deals” that appear only after you sign in. Most shoes listed there showed full prices to a signed-out visitor, such as the Clifton 11 at $155 and the Bondi 9 at $175. One style, the men’s Skyward Laceless, was marked down from $175 to $140.
HOKA’s pages don’t say whether sale items are final sale. The 30-day guarantee doesn’t mention sale exclusions either, so ask HOKA customer service before buying a sale pair you might return.
The honest math
- Last season’s model. The Clifton 10 at $124 instead of $155 saves $31 with no code, more than the 10% member offer would take off the full-price Clifton 11 ($15.50).
- ID.me on a full-price pair. Taking HOKA’s advertised 15% floor on a $175 Bondi 9 gives $26.25 off, so $148.75 before tax. That is a hypothetical, since HOKA does not publish the rate for each group.
- The $200 threshold. Two sale Clifton 10s ($248) clear $200, so the $30 promotion would bring the bag to $218, if the promotion counts sale items. HOKA’s pages don’t say whether it does. A single full-price Bondi 9 ($175) falls $25 short, and adding an item just to reach $200 only pays off if you wanted that item anyway.
- Stacking. We did not add the ID.me discount, the 10% offer and the $30 promotion together. HOKA doesn’t say they combine, and its expired member event barred combining.
- Shipping and returns. Joining is free, and members get free ground shipping and 60 days to return. For most shoppers, signing in before checkout matters more than any code.
How to save at HOKA without a coupon
- Join HOKA Membership before you check out. It’s free and unlocks shipping, the longer return window and the members-only prices.
- If you’re in one of the five ID.me groups, verify once and check what discount lands on your order.
- Look in the sale section for the previous version of the shoe you already wear. HOKA’s model updates usually leave the older version marked down.
- Buy from HOKA.com or a HOKA-owned store if tier status matters to you. Only those purchases count.
- Compare against retailers that carry HOKA and run their own loyalty programs. Our explainers on DICK’S Sporting Goods, Foot Locker and Journeys cover how those programs work. HOKA won’t refund or exchange items bought elsewhere; those go back to the store that sold them.
What we could not verify
- The exact discount for each ID.me group, and which groups (if any) get more than the 15% HOKA advertises.
- Whether the ID.me discount excludes sale items, new releases, gift cards or specific models, and whether it has a per-order or annual limit.
- Whether veterans, retirees and military family members qualify under “military personnel.”
- How the 10% membership offer is delivered (code by email or account credit), its exclusions, and how long it lasts. We also couldn’t confirm whether existing email subscribers qualify.
- Exclusions and the end date for the “Spend $200+, save $30” promotion, and whether sale items count toward the $200.
- Whether any of HOKA’s discounts can be combined.
- Whether HOKA offers price adjustments if an item goes on sale after you buy it. We found no price adjustment or price match policy on HOKA’s U.S. pages.
- Paid shipping costs, non-member shipping costs, and point rates or reward values for the membership tiers.
- HOKA’s return policy page carries an outdated free-shipping note and Canada-only return wording. We relied on the 30-day guarantee and shipping pages for the U.S. return terms.

Yes. HOKA’s discount programs page lists military personnel among the groups that can save “15% or more” after verifying with ID.me at checkout.

Yes. Students, teachers, eligible medical professionals and first responders are all named on HOKA’s U.S. discount programs page, with verification through ID.me.

Standard U.S. shipping is free for HOKA Members. Membership is free to join.
How long do I have to return HOKA shoes?
The guarantee allows 30 days from purchase, or 60 days for members, for a refund or exchange on items bought directly from HOKA.
Where this information comes from
Everything above comes from HOKA’s own U.S. pages: the discount programs page, membership page, membership terms and conditions, account benefits page, sale page, Members Only page, shipping information, 30 day guarantee, return policy and warranty page, coupon and gift certificate help, and terms and conditions. We did not run a checkout test or verify an ID.me discount ourselves, we invented no codes, and nothing here comes from coupon sites. Read how we verify deals and our editorial policy.
